After that, it's teatime with Japanese sweets.
We offer sweets designed with seasonal flowers.
Please take photo of your Ikebana
and take back the flowers to your stay.
Our gallery is conveniently located near the main gate
of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden,

We highly recommend the Ikebana experience. Nobu-san is an amazing host and it was a really wonderful change of pace in the busy Tokyo schedule.

A very therapeutic experience learning about Ikebana. Nobu was a very knowledgeable and helpful instructor, who explained the tradition and variations of this wonderful art. There was much more involved than I expected.

Our instructor Nobo was so kind and caring, especially to our 14-year-old. We learned of the ikebana tradition, and were given beautiful flowers to work with. Special sweets and green tea were part of the experience. We felt welcomed and affirmed in our first-time effort. It was truly a special and spiritual time.

Nobu is very knowledgeable about Ikebana and I feel I learned so much in a short time. I was so proud of the Ikebana arrangement I created in her class. I feel like I created a piece of art thanks to my great teacher! It was nice chatting with Nobu and the tea and snack at the end was a great treat!

Had a lovely time learning about the art of Ikebana and creating my very own first Ikebana. Sansei was very kind and nicely explained everything. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning about Ikebana.

Great experience, and good location! Directly next to a wonderful park/garden. Really niche part of the culture to learn about, and after taking this class you will notice all sorts of Ikebana throughout Japan along with the relevance as to what clippings have been chosen for the Ikebana display. Enjoy!
