Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: El Yunque National Forest 00745-9625 Puerto Rico

Our day will begin with a moderate to medium level hike, discussing local flora/fauna native to Puerto Rico, as well as key roles these played in our indigenous roots on the island. Hike is about 20 min into the rainforest (approx. 1 mile, or 4 laps around a track.) Upon arrival, we will set any belongings we have brought with us to the side and continue up another 10 min (.25 miles) to the natural water slide where we will be swimming. Life vests will be provided for those who need them. Once every guest goes down the water slide, we will return to where we left our belongings to enjoy some small but exciting jumps.
And finally - the cherry on top, the famous rope swing! All activities will be recorded and photos will be taken throughout your journey! Photos or it didn't happen!
For whoever has worked up an appetite, I can provide recommendations to a local restaurant with authentic comida criolla. Please note: lunch is not included in tour pricing. Total hiking duration: 75 min.

My gf and I are in PR for a very few days and had booked a tour with a brother company of Tristan's. After an emergency with our guide, we were partnered with Tristan the day off our trip and are so glad as I couldn't picture our adventuere any other way then with Tristan's positive energy leading us up the mountain to the waterslide, cliff jump and rope swing. He was knowledgeable, funny and does an amazing job capturing the moments so we could focus on soaking in everything around us. The stop on the way in the morning has great smoothies, empanadas and fresh fruit to purchase for snacking on the drive and if you stop near Liquillo beach at the roadside vendor oasis, there is every food you can imagine but get the pinchos ( meat skewers) with a fresh coconut to rehydrate after your adventures. Thank you again Tristan for making the day amazing and we look forward to going on other adventures.

Our guide was Paul. He was very helpful and great conversation. He was very quick on his feet whenever anyone needed help during the hike or in the water. It’s not an easy hike for beginners or anytime with mobility issues, but if you are an active person you should be fine. There were definitely some less experienced people in our group and everyone did great. All in all great trip and highly recommend.

El YUNQUE The trip no one can't miss. Running away from the busy & stressful city of NY, we encounter paradise in P.R. in the forest. We’re grateful for our experience with the best tour guide, Tristan; he's kind and helpful and knows his job well. We had so much fun and coming back again. Luv P.R ❤️

Tristan & Adrian(?) were very accommodating and very nice. They shared some knowledge of local animals and rain forest plants along the walk. We had a 6 & 9 year old with us. The guides were very helpful to make sure we all made it up the tricky areas They made it through but it was definitely more difficult for them - climbing up and over and the slipperiness of the wet clay. (Mom fell twice-oops). They say to embrace the mud, and that’s what I did. 😆 The 6 year old shocked us and went down the slide, water was quick because of a lot of recent rain, but he did well and the 9 year old did fine. The rock jumping was good, there’s 3-4 levels (on the day we went) you can choose from. One you have to step down about 6-8 feet to but is only 3-4 feet off the water, another you step down to about 2-3 feet above the lower and one about 2-3 feet above that. There was a bigger one about twice as high as the biggest of the shorter jumps as well for those more daring people. Rope swing looked sturdy and husband said was pretty solid. The water is definitely chilly but once you get in it is fine. No where near as bad as New Hampshire non-heated pool water or river water - 😂. Stopped at a local food stop on the way back for bathroom/clothing change/food/drink break. Tried some coconuts- not for us, although most likely cheaper than Isla Verde coconuts would’ve been, and some smoothies made from fresh fruits. It was the end of our trip, and I would’ve loved to pick up some fresh fruit, but didn’t feel we would eat it in time before having to leave. Overall glad we booked the trip and would do it again, if we are ever able to come back.

I absolutely LOVED this tour! First and foremost I have to give a special thanks and shoutout to Tristan and Adrian for being so thorough and engaged with everyone and making sure we were safe navigating through the rocks and just an overall great experience! They take many videos and photos of everyone. Secondly… this is an experience where you MUST embrace nature and the natural spring. You WILL get dirty but it’s all worth it in the end. The views were amazing. The rainforest was breathtaking and the natural waters felt cool and amazing! 10/10 recommend!!

We enjoyed our tour with Tristan to El Yunque National Rainforest. We signed up at the last minute and he was still able to accommodate us, picking us up at our hotel. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was interesting with facts about the rainforest and the plant life we encountered along the way. To get to the rockslide a little bit of climbing was involved , but Tristan safely guided us through it step by step, offering a helping hand when necessary. If you haven't been to the rainforest, we would recommend it and recommend Tristan to take you there!
