Bernie and Freddy are exceptional guides. Confident, fit, funny, outdoor experts, and extremely knowledgeable with respect to their Inka ancestors. I would recommend to anyone that they should look no further when coming to Cusco.

This trip greatly exceeded any and all expectations I had, from the views, to the people, to the food, and everything in between. The people I met are now friendships to last a lifetime. Our guides, Bernie and Fredy, were incredible, kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. I felt so lucky to have been part of such an amazing group. Everything was beautiful. Our porters, led by Luis, and the cooks, with head chef Sergio, made our experience along the trail so comfortable. Camp was set up by the time we arrived, with everyone clapping as we came in, and the food was spectacular with a wide variety of traditional peruvian food for us to enjoy. I will never forget these past few days. Thank you to AB Expeditions and thank you to our guides, porters, cooks, and fellow traveling companions.

This trip was one for the records. Absolutely amazing, from the views, food, and people. An incredible experience that everyone should do. Our guides, Bernie and Freddy, made the experience even more amazing. They had great knowledge of the Inca trail and made the journey as easy and enjoyable as possible. They were personable and made you feel like a team/family the entire trip. The cook, Sergio, made incredible food throughout the entire trip. If you are thinking the food might be just okay throughout the trip, you will 100% be pleasantly surprised. Three-course meals every meal, roasting marshmallows at 10,000 feet, and soup that is incredible. You can’t ask for a better experience. The porter lead, Louis, made the trip as easy as possible for us. I cannot stress enough how important our porters were and how excellent their work was in allowing us to have the best hiking and camping experience possible. If you are someone searching for an incredible and spiritual experience to Machu Picchu, AB Expedition is the best company you can go with. Thank you again, and I hope to come back and do the trip again! Thanks, Bernie and Freddy, you are awesome!

This trip was life changing and it was all possible because of the AB Expeditions Team (specially my tour guides Bernito and Freddy) and the amazing people I got to share the experience with. I had always wanted to do the inka trail, but I never imagined the impact it would have on my life. Not only was it the insane views, the amazing andean food (cooked by Sergio), and all we got to learn about the Incas and their culture, but the special people we got to share it with. I end this journey feeling more than satisfied with the service provided by AB Expeditions, but most importantly, with friends for life. I truly recommend.

I came to Peru with my dad and brother. We were so excited for the trip and natural beauty. The reality of what we experienced blew our expectations out of the water. The views on the Inca trail are something that must be seen to truly understand the beauty. Our guides Bernie and Freddie were knowledgeable, helpful, interesting and fun. I have never had guides that matched their level. Sergio and his cooks prepared food that does not seem possible on a trip like this. It was delicious. Luis and his team of porters made sure everything was prepared at the campsites, they were incredible. The group aspect of the hike added much more than expected, big shout out to the home stretchers. I would recommend this company very very highly to anyone who is considering this trip. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

AB Expeditions made our four-day Inca Trail experience wonderful. The whole team was great but we especially appreciated the wonderful and creative cooking by Martin and the expert and insightful guidance by Rosbel who effortlessly switched between English and Spanish to accommodate our mixed group. They even coped well when nature reminded us we were walking in the mountains by raining on part of Day 2 and part of Day 3. We learnt lots about the Incas, the Inca Trail and its wildlife and plant life, as well as life in Peru in general. Thanks AB Expeditions!
