Our guides, Pepe and Gilbert, were the heart and soul of our adventure. Pepe, with his vast knowledge, was the source of inspiration throughout our journey. He narrated them with such passion that we could almost visualize the ancient Incas living their lives. His dedication to ensuring that we had the best experience was evident in his actions. He fought for us, ensuring we got the best campsites and the most immersive experiences.
Gilbert, on the other hand, brought a sense of fun and excitement to the journey. He showed us numerous tricks from the Inca era, which not only entertained us but also deepened our understanding of the ingenious civilization.
The porters were the unsung heroes of our trek. Their strength and dedication were awe-inspiring. They carried our belongings over the rugged terrain with such ease, their legs seemingly made of steel. It was humbling to witness their hard work, driven by their commitment to their families and their profession.
Last but not least, the culinary experience was a delightful surprise. Our chef managed to create an amazing variety of dishes with limited resources. Each meal was a testament to his creativity and skill, turning simple ingredients into delicious and nourishing meals that fueled our journey.
TreXperience provided an unforgettable adventure filled with learning, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the Inca civilization and the beautiful landscape of Machu Picchu. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour company to anyone looking for a well-organized, enriching, and fun-filled trek.

I highly recommend this tour group. They were highly communicative from the beginning to end, exceeded all expectations, and provided us with a once in a lifetime experience. Our lead tour guide Yoel was an expert tour guide (480+ hikes on Inca trail), was professional, and was passionate about teaching us all about Peru. He put us at ease from the beginning with his competence and friendliness. Our other tour guide was Yilberth who was also highly qualified and taught us all about the Inca trail and always made sure we were taken care of. I went with my mom and we were slower hikers of the group. There was always a tour guide in front and in back to ensure we all got there safely. On the tough hiking days Yilberth was always there with us in the back of the group to help us with anything we needed, cheer us on, and take our many pictures. The entire team was extremely nice. The food was delicious with many option’s; the cooks went above and beyond to accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary requests.
The 4 day tour does involve a great deal of hiking and there is very high altitude, for well seasoned hikers it is very do-able but recognize what you are getting into.
The Inca trail is an iconic trail, there is so much history and beauty, you have to see it for yourself.
It’s tough to sum up such a unique experience but overall we are extremely impressed with this company, the price for this experience is extremely reasonable, and I highly recommend booking with this company.

Everything during the trail was amazing. The only moments when we were not taking photos or admiring the landscape were when we were searching for our breath 😅 the feeling of waking up in the Andean mountains over 3000 meters is priceless. The guides were special, and the porters are super humans. A really fantastic journey

This experience will be one of the most memorable in my life. JJ and Alex were absolutely amazing guides that were so helpful and informative - some of the best guides I’ve ever had on trips. They catered to every need and even proactively offered help without needing to ask. They both really care about their crews and it absolutely showed. Oscar was an outstanding chef and the food over the 4 days was so good and blew our minds each day with the amount and quality of the food in a makeshift kitchen - lasagna, ceviche, chocolate cake, everything. Lastly, cannot thank the porters enough. They carry so much weight and hike so fast to provide us with the best experience possible and they do not get enough credit. I would not have been able to do this trip without them. They were the backbone of the experience and I cannot say thank you enough.

We had an amazing time on this trip with Trexperience! All of the porters were extremely polite and helpful and made the trek much easier. The head porter Benedicto was always ready to help us whenever we needed anything. The cook, Oscar made incredible meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that kept us fueled each day. Our guides, JJ and Alex were very organized and supportive. I struggled with very bad altitude sickness and JJ was very patient and helped me push through and get better so I could complete the hike. Amazing experience, absolutely recommend this company for the Inca Trail!
