You will enjoy a breathtaking view of São Paulo from its highest peak, the Jaraguá, with 1135 meters of altitude, the Jaragua Peak offers visitors the most amazing panorama of São Paulo (with a view that reaches up to 55 km). The park was declared in 1983 by Condephaat and in 1994 as World Heritage Site by Unesco. The park also has a historical house, a lake, and three trails.

Queria conhecer a aldeia no Jaraguá para desenvolver uma pesquisa para um trabalho audiovisual. Procurando um guia de turismo, me indicaram o trabalho do Renato. Entrei em contato com ele para que eu pudesse ter uma introdução à cultura indígena Guarani. Renato prontamente me conectou com a comunidade indígena do Jaraguá. Fizemos uma visita com muito cuidado e respeitando todos os protocolos de segurança, e fiquei encantada de ver o trabalho que ele desenvolve na comunidade, como oferece ajuda, como se interessa pela cultura, conhece a língua guarani, sua mitologia e história. Foi um excelente ponto de partida para dar início à minha pesquisa. Como fomos durante a pandemia, não pude fazer o tour completo, mas conheci muito da cultura e da aldeia e foi uma experiência incrível, principalmente porque sou da cidade de SP e não conhecia a aldeia. Renato foi uma conexão importantíssima com essa parte da cidade que sempre esteve tão perto mas nunca soube como acessar. Indico seu trabalho de olhos fechados.
