Itinerary
After meeting your instructor and completing a medical declaration, you will head out on the regular daily dive boat trip along with everyone else for the 2 dive trip. You will receive entry level equipment and ears equalising basic training in the boat, which will be followed through in the shallow waters beside one of the coral reefs. When comfortable, your instructor will manage everything for you regarding descent and buoyancy - all you have to do is continue breathing and fall in love with our marine backyard. No pool training necessary, and your instructor will remain with you throughout - even hold your hand for confidence boost if you would like. The Introductory Dives are designed to be experiential for non certified divers, and is great for a certified person who has a non certified partner, or family group and would like to share the experience of first time scuba diving. Minimum age to scuba dive is 10 years old - a great family holiday experience.

We will pick up divers from all Denarau Resorts from 8:30am. Hotels and resorts in the Wailoaloa Beach area divers may be picked up from 7:15am. Pick up from Nadi Town area is not logistically feasible sorry - traffic chaos. At time of booking we will confirm that you are within our logistically practical pick up region, or you may have to make you own way to meet us at our kiosk located inside the Denarau Marina Passenger Terminal building by 8:30am.

Being guided around the reef seeing amazing marine life. Andrew puts your mind at ease getting you to and from the boat and the crew are very professional with getting you to dive. Best way to learn is out on the ocean not in the pool!

Great tour. The divers and captain were very nice and knowledgeable. We were able to see some cool aquatic life doing the scuba and snorkeling. If there was any downside it would be the boat ride to and from the reef - the ride took 40mins each way and the waters were a bit choppy. No fault of the tour guides though. But if your prone to sea nausea then I’d recommend Dramamine.

As a frequent snorkeler I was excited to learn of this opportunity to dive with equipment in such beautiful reefs. Once on the boat this team worked together to prepare my equipment and train me on the use of the equipment, they drilled on safety precautions and included hand signals. Everyone else on the boat was fully certified and master SSI dive instructors. I felt safe and well cared for. It was such a great experience-I can't wait to do it again.

We travel a lot, and this tour ranks in the top ten tours we’ve ever done around the world. To be able to experience scuba with a master instructor literally holding onto us was a dream, and so hassle-free. All the instructions were clear, and we felt so safe and so cared for from start to finish. And we saw so many amazing things!
Thank you so much, we totally will be back to do this again. Special mention to Sharon and Mark, who were amazing in the water with us.

Our family of 5 (parents and 3 teens) did the two introductory dives with WhiteTip. At first most of us were a little nervous but the crew was amazing in particular Sharon who made us feel at ease. It ended up being an awesome experience with so much wildlife on display including turtles and eel. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for our day of scuba diving in Fiji. As beginners we were unsure what to expect and you exceeded our expectations. Sharon & Monica were our personal guides and they were amazing! Step by step, they helped us get comfortable, teaching & talking us through the process, and then showing us the wonders of the sea. Crystal clear water, beautiful colourful coral, too many varieties of fish to count, turtles, eagle rays (I think that's what they were called), eels and a white tip shark were some of the highlights. We thoroughly enjoy our day and would highly recommend the day trip to anyone who enjoys scuba diving or snorkelling. Looking forward to doing it again! Pam & Johnny

The best! Sharon and Mark made our first scuba diving trip an amazing experience!! Love the hand holding! Wished we stayed longer to get certified! Definitely coming back! The view was breathtaking.

1st time scuba diving for beginners.
Felt very safe. All 5 of us were looked after very carefully with our own instructors who monitored our oxygen tanks etc. All we had to do was breathe normally and enjoy!
Way better than snorkelling. Saw big turtles up close and a gentle reef shark sleeping on the sand. Saw a huge variety of spectacularly coloured tropical fish including Nemos'.We visited 2 very different dive sites on the day. we were all blown away by how wonderful this experience was. Sharon and the staff were magnificent.
Highly recommend this as the best trip in Fiji
