I chose this tour because of the specific historical churches and mosques. The Gayer-Anderson museum is a nice addition--a charming gem of a house museum. This tour first takes you through quiet historic parts of the city and then you drive to the citadel, which has spectacular views and an interesting past. Yusa was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, and if you're interested in the history of art and architecture he knows what he's talking about. He's also a good storyteller! The tour ends with lunch, which is OK if a little underwhelming. If you have already visited the Giza pyramids and the Egyptian museum and want to learn a little more about the history of Cairo, this is the tour for you.

One of our favorite days in Cairo! Our guide was Hossain Al Gambry & he was excellent. He explained everything & was a nice guy. The tour is very interesting because we spent the morning at the Citadel and 2 mosques. Then we visited churches & one temple. I didn't know there were so many churches in Egypt. Being on the tour was very helpful because it shielded us from any hustlers, etc. Thanks Hossain!

Hussein Elgabry was the perfect guide for our Islamic and Coptic tour. He was smart, kind , and funny. Abraham was a great driver in the chaotic city of Cairo. It was an educational tour to enhance our knowledge of Islam and Christianity in Egypt.

My mom and I were travelling together. Our guide Mohammed (I hope that's correct) was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything! He answered all of our many questions and gave us a look into the culture and daily lives of Egyptians. Despite how professional he was, he was also very kind and caring and extremely funny. He took care of us and we always felt safe, even in the busy streets of Cairo and Khan el-Khalili. We felt like we had known him for years. The sites were beautiful and full of so much history, and lunch was fabulous. A great day, we definitely recommend this tour!
