Ozzy is a great tour guide! Lots of knowledge, personality and hospitality. Fluent in English he guided us trough the historical sites in a funny and entertaining way with lots of interesting informations. He can answer all your questions. We were exhausted at the end but I could have stayed longer even though I am normally not a museum/city tour person.
Request for the tourist: There are not many extra rules to follow in Turkey which is an Islamic country, so please respect the few ones given to you, its about respect not politics. And no, a baseball cap is not a head cover. Please also do not forget to tip your guide at the end, from the price you pay they do only get a small part of.

This was a great way to learn about Istanbul -- it's history and historical sites. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Naturally it is hard in one day to take it all in, but visits to Haggia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar provided a great overview of Istanbul's amazing history from Byzantium to Nova Roma to Constantinople to Istanbul. Lunch is included and was OK. Also included was a very odd visit to a rug manufacturer and a pre-organized 30 minute sales pitch. Very weird.

This was about as great of an introduction to the major sites of Old City Istanbul that I could have asked for. Over the course of the nine hours that the tour lasted we visited around a dozen different sites and monuments, getting to see how history is present in layer upon layer of the city.
Oguzhan was about as good of a guide in this process as could be asked for. With a wealth of knowledge stretching across centuries and millenia, constantly on the look out for ways to adjust the tour so that it fit with our group specifically, going deeper into the subjects that we showed an interest for and shifting around the order in which we visited the major sites to ensure we got the best possible experience (notably avoiding the worst of the crowds by shifting around when we visited the Grand Bazar).
I would definitely recommend this tour. The expertise of the guide, the sites visited and the flexibility of the tour make it more than worth it.

Oguzhan was a fabulous tourguide! He spoke English well, provided us with headsets so we could hear him clearly in the crowds, and may be the most knowledgeable guide we have ever had, besides being friendly and thoughtful. Our 7 hour tour stretched to 10 because we asked so many questions that he was happy to answer. The sights were of course stunning, and he adjusted the tour to avoid crowds as much as possible.
Just Excellent .

Oguzhan is a one of a kind tour leader. Knowledgeable, patient, collaborative, experienced, and well organized. He shared not only the sights but also a ton of history and “inside stories” about historical and even current power dynamics between the many rulers of Constantinople / Turkey. We saw all of the major Istanbul sights in one enjoyable walking tour. All entrance fees and lunch included. This has been a highlight of our Istanbul tour to date! Not to be missed!

We found Oguzhan to be an outstanding tour guide. He was very considerate of each member of the group and was careful to match the information he gave us to the group's interest in history. His knowledge really is outstanding and the information was delivered in such a relatable and interesting way. The day was packed with a range of activities and visits to different places but somehow didn't feel rushed at all, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. The tour was great value for money. All of us would thoroughly recommend it. Big thanks to Oguzhan for a great day.
