A THRULY COSTARRICAN HORSEBACK RIDE EXPERIENCE!
Jaco Costa Rica Horseback Riding is an unforgettable experience everybody. An exciting adventure, starting a ride with our friendly local guide, exploring the nature of Jaco, passing through the rice plantations, amazing trails that just in our tour you will find, river crossing (not deep), forest trail, and the last part, riding on the beach. We have high probabilities to spot some great wildlife as monkeys and sloths. Feel the ocean breeze while you ride over the sand. Horses in excellent care conditions with all the security implements.
We have no problems with beginners, because our cowboy guide gives beginners the instruction they need, up to any level (even cowboys or cowgirls).
The DURATION is between 1.8 and 2.5 hours, it depends of the clients and their skills riding horses.

We have combos available, choose an extra activity to enjoy with our great horseback riding. We have available Zip Line Tour and ATV tour 2 hours, both are amazing ways to discover the beaty of our country.

The transportation in Jaco area has an extra charge of $5 per person, must be paid in cash. Minimum of 2 people
The transportation in Herradura and Los Sueños area has an extra charge of $20 per way in cash.
The transportation in Playa Hermosa and Los Sueños area has an extra charge of $20 per way.

Great horseback riding experience. My wife was a little worried riding a horse for the first time but our guide Mauriel made her feel comfortable. Mauriel was also extremely knowledegable about horses and all animals. He was a great guide as his knowledge went beyond the animals and ttaught us about the nature in Costa Rica. I would recommend the tour to anyone, especially for the price. It's well worth it and a great way to explore the Jaco Beach area.

We thought the entire ride was on the beach - but that was just the last 1/2 od the ride. It was still an excellent ride - and I would recommend it.

We loved riding the horses. I hadn’t been on a horse since falling off one when I was 17. I was a little nervous at first but my goodness were these horses so gentle. Awesome experience. Would love to do it again

A great experience for beginners with little to no horseback riding experience. I was nervous since I only rode a horse once before years ago but the guide was very helpful and moves at your pace. I didn’t feel rushed at all, especially since in the beginning I was very nervous and moving slowly. You get to see a beautiful side of Jaco that you wouldn’t get to if you were only driving. On the ride, we saw different fruits (even picked and tried a star fruit), saw monkeys enjoying mangos, macaw parrots, and a sloth! All before getting to the beach! The beach ride was a beautiful way to end the tour with the ocean breeze cooling us off.

Our guide was great and he made sure we saw as much of the beach and countryside as possible…we saw wildlife and even a Sloth!

This was our first excursion in Jaco and it was lovely. Our amazing guide, Antonio, actually came to our condo on the beach with the horses so all we had to do was walk out of our building.
The horses were in good health and extremely calm. After a short lesson we were assigned our horses and we were off. We walked through a portion of the beach and onto a path where our guide told us about the flora in the area. The horses were calm and easy to ride, even if you have no experience. We also saw white faced monkeys and Scarlet Macaws on our ride.
Antonio is a lovely guide who took many pictures of us and sent them do us via Whatsapp which was great to enjoy the experience without having to worry about taking photos.

Beautiful scenery, wildlife, and great guides. Our guide was Elliot a d he was phenomenal. Patient with our group and full of lots if information. It's hot in April so I would recommend going early.
