Agriculture is a crucial part of Vietnam's economy, and to experience the rural lifestyle, we journey from Hanoi to an 800-year-old village. Along the way, we visit a stunning bonsai garden to appreciate this intricate art and witness the beautiful plant creations. In addition, we meet a local family residing in a traditional Vietnamese house that's 200 years old, and have the opportunity to chat with them while enjoying some candy and tea, with our guide assisting as a translator.

As we continue our journey, we'll traverse the serene farming area of Red River Island with its lush banana and vegetable fields. We'll venture off the main path, onto a dirt road that leads us through stunning green rice paddies. Our next stop is the Co Loa citadel temple, a historical site with breathtaking scenery that dates back to 300 BC. This location holds significance in Vietnam's history as it is associated with the legend of setting up and protecting the country from foreign invaders under the reign of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong. During the trip, we'll have several opportunities to stop and capture photos of the locals at work on their farms amidst the beautiful surroundings.

The conclusion of our adventure takes place at a local restaurant in town where we can sample authentic Vietnamese cuisine and indulge in the local specialty of egg coffee before being dropped off at your hotel.

Continue we ride to the countryside along the Red River’s banks to take in the stunning beauty of Vietnam’s countryside and see farmers cultivating their lands. We’ll make a visit to a local family making bonsai to learn about this intricate art form and admire some of the stunning plant creations

After that we will visit Hoi Phu village, which is well-known for producing broomsticks, a popular traditional craft in the Red River delta. Guests will observe talented broom makers as they create functional and beautiful broomsticks out of broom grass.

Loved the experience of this tour of Hanoi countryside and soaking in the life of the local community.
Being Vegan, our tour began with a fantastic vegan buffet at a local restaurant where we were spoilt for choice. Our tour guide Chris explained the tour itinerary there and also cultural elements of Vietnamese life. We then went across the Long Bien bridge to a village where we met with a local family whose business is to make brooms. Then follower a tour through the scenic paddy fields and soaking in the history of an old temple. The best was next but won’t reveal it yet. We also got a lively souvenir!
If you want to get a slice of Vietnamese life beyond the touristy part, this tour is a must do. Cannot recommend Chris and his team enough.

We did a city tour and countryside tour. My guide and rider were all very attentive, caring and helpful. I am a vegetarian so they ensure my needs are taken care of. I enjoy my trips with them very much. And would give them a five stars

We’ve now done two tours with the same company, this time with the boys on Vespas and we were not disappointed. Both treated us like family, their knowledge and explanations made for a very memorable day.
Great food, fabulous tour guides and terrific memories.

We wanted to see another side of Hanoi, and this tour delivered. Our superb guides/drivers, Tea and Bean, took us on an amazing tour through Hanoi to the surrounding countryside, showing us areas that we never could have seen on our own. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. And they were excellent drivers, making us feel safe on the scooters (in a city with admittedly intimidating traffic!). To cap it off, the tour included an unexpectedly incredible meal and some delicious egg coffee.
We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see another side of the city!

We did the the Hanoi countryside Vespa tour yesterday as a group of 4 and it was amazing! Our guide Ninh spoke excellent English and was very informative he provided interesting information along the way. The 3 other lads Huy, Thai and Son were lovely and so polite and could not have looked after us any better. They were all very good drivers and made us all feel very safe in the madness of the traffic in Hanoi. Ninh was very knowledgeable, providing insights into the history and current changes in Vietnam. The trip into the countryside is only a short drive and gives a different perspective from Hanoi. The lunch was also great - they took us to a village known to locals but not to tourists and then to Co La temple which is a must see. They also took us to the home of a local couple where we had tea and biscuits This is a must do tour and one of the highlights of our trip so far.
5 stars to this company.

This was a great way to get out of Hanoi, Both Chris and Ninh our guides and drivers were absolutley fantastic. Their knowledge about the country and places we visited was 10/10. Their care factor was 20/10. This tour made out Hanoi visit, the visit to an elders place and sharing tea was beautiful and being able to wander through his garden and learn about Bonsi was fabulous. Lunch was great and the egg coffee omg mouth watering. If in Hanoi and wanting to get out of the hustle and bustle then take this tour, you will not be dissapointed at all.,

We have just finished this tour and it was brilliant! Tea and vee were brilliant, Tea was very knowledgeable and interesting, honestly if you have time do this tour it was such good value for money and you get to see so much of the real Vietnam one of the best trips so far in Vietnam.

A group of 4 went on a countryside Vespa tour. Highly recommended to get a good idea of Hanoi street scene and also some rural life. Lovely lunch also included.
