Take your own jet ski out on our crystal clear waters of the Emerald Coast! Best way to get out and see our local marine life and local life. Make your way to Crab Island and enjoy your vacation at one of the most beautiful places in our area! Make sure you arrive 1 hour early if you are born after January 1, 1988 to take our state required boater's safety test.

Restrictions
Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988 can operate a jet ski with a valid drivers license without a Florida's Boater License.
Person signing the contract must be 18, have a valid picture ID, & a VALID credit card for incidentals.
Near public transportation
Those born on or after January 1, 1988 can operate a jet ski, but are required to take a Florida Boaters Test. These tests are available upon arrival for $15. They take approximately 30 - 40 minutes to complete. Please arrive early if someone in your party is taking this test.
Jet Ski/Waverunners are prohibited from entering the Gulf of Mexico.
Jet Ski/Waverunners can hold a maximum of 3 passengers
Jet Ski/Waverunners MUST be returned at the rental location no later than 6pm regardless of the time of departure.
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
A damage deposit is required upon check in. There are two options: USD25 non refundable fee that covers up to USD500 in damage or you may place a USD300 hold per ski on a valid credit card. This hold will be released when you bring the ski back as long as there is no damage done.
Passengers MUST be 8 years old or older - this is due to a insurance policy
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 3 travelers

The staff was super polite and friendly. The skis were well maintained and a lot of fun. It was a little choppy and took almost 20 minutes to get to crab island as we could barely maintain 25 mph. 2 hours may have been in order.
Definitely worth the $100 or so including tax and tip. We will see you again..

This is the 2nd year we have used Power Up Watersports! There were 6 of us so we rented 3 jet skis (youngest was 15). We were pleased again this year and will go back the next time we are in Florida! The guys that helped us with our jet skis were helpful and friendly. They didn't rush through the instructions and answered our questions nicely. Remember to either take your boating test before you make reservations or allow yourself enough time to take it before your reservation time (1 hour or so)! The rental was great! We went out for 1 hour. The weather was beautiful. The larger boats went on out into the gulf so we had most of the area to ourselves. We had a 10:00 a.m. reservation and saw 4 dolphins while we were riding! Definitely recommend this!

Had the worst experience ever here, they canceled my reservation without notice and didn't want to refund me. Won't be coming back and don't recommend this place.

So easy to work with! We had to cancel two diff days from storms. 3rd time was a charm! They had good quality life vests, and Seadoos are well kept. They explained operation and safety as well as directions and tips. Gave us an anchor to use so we could walk around crab island. Excellent group! We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you!!

The staff is great and friendly. And their jet skis and pontoons are so much fun. We look forward to spending time on the water with them again.

We rented 4 jet skis for our family. The staff was friendly and we had a great time. The only reason I did not give. 5 is because I had issues with my jet ski which does multiple times and had to be restarted throughout the hour we had it. Otherwise would highly recommend.

Reasonable price, enjoyed jet skiing with my daughter. Everyone was nice and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

I took my three kids jet skiing twice using power up water sports. Each time it was fantastic, we really enjoyed ourselves and picking up/dropping off the Jet Skis was incredibly easy. They were very helpful and I would highly recommend them.

We arrived at Powerup and we were immediately greeted with friendly faces of several staff offering help and assistance and we even met their mascot Randall the crane who was searching for fish on the beach.
We watched a quick helpful video on safety tips and grabbed our life jackets!
It was time to go have some fun!
We hopped on our jet skis and headed out. There was a less than 5 minute no wake zone which I was really able to just relax and watch all the ducks and birds go by. We got out of the no wake zone and we’re able to cruise down to crab island, the water was absolutely beautiful the whole way! Before we arrived at crab island we pulled off and parked our skis on a little island near crab island and let the kids play in the sand, collect shells, and look at all the hermit crabs.
We got back on the skis and rode over to crab island which is a sunken sandbar so to speak- no actual land but all shallow beautiful crystal clear water! Saw several people there and everyone seemed to be having a great time just hanging out getting some sun!
We drove just under the Destin bridge to see some dolphins popping out to say hello!
We turned back to head back to Powerup, my kids were nothing but smiles the whole time!
We absolutely had the greatest time just getting fresh sea air on our faces and wind in our hair. We were greeted once again with friendly faces of staff at Powerup to receive the jet skis and make sure we had help getting off the skis!
Everything was seamless and wonderful.

We had initially booked a pontoon/jet ski combo. Unfortunately we had some bad weather come in on the day of our reservation. We still showed up as we thought it was too late to cancel. They offered us the option to go ahead with our rental, a refund if we did not go out at all, or to rebook. Sadly all the boats were already booked for our remaining stay so opted for the refund. After considering it more, we decided to go back the following day and rent two jet skis for 2 hours. We had a great time. Staff explained everything and was very nice. We will for sure be back!
