Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide, but tour organizer constantly misquotes the price for their tours. Entrance fees to the 7 sites adds about 50 US-Dollars per person, resulting in this tour costing 270.00 USD and not as falsely quoted 170.00 USD!

Madan was very knowledgeable about all sites. It took nearly 9 hours, and could easily have been more if you want to shop more than I did. It's quite customizable, and after arriving just the day before, I was a bit tired!

We really enjoyed the tour today. We got to see so many more sites and we would have been able to see with a larger tour in a short amount of time.

Seeing the temples and palaces are a must...the architecture is incredible and our guide, Madan's, knowledge gave us good insight into the culture and history of Nepal. Madan's fluency in English was a real bonus and allowed us to focus on the information he was sharing. Besides his knowledge, he was also very professional, punctual and courteous...which made the tour go smoothly and enjoyably.
The driver, Rabi, was also very good...he frequently maneuvered us in and out of traffic in such a way that we wondered how he was able to do it. He also was professional, reliable and courteous.
Between Madan and Rabi, we felt safe and looked after and were able to focus solely on the sights.
The one thing to consider regarding the 7 site tour is that it makes for a long day...so, I would not do it on the day of arrival as we did...instead if time is a factor, I would suggest visiting fewer sites. Besides the temples, the visit to the crematorium was fascinating and gave us a glimpse into a critical but current cultural practice.

Incredible tour! We went to all seven UNESCO world heritage sites in one day, with a private car waiting for us at every stop.
The guide was incredibly friendly and helpful, really explained all the different cultural sites we visited and this really added a lot to the experience.
Would totally recommend!

I traveled by myself and was transported on my 12+ hour journey by Sharkar, a guide of unprecedented knowledge of history and philosophy (both Eastern and Western). I’ve never before had such a guide of immense talent, able to answer every detailed question I had throughout the seven sites. Sharkar made this trip unforgettable for me.
I only had one day of sightseeing and debated between Everest base camp helicopter and this. I’m glad I chose the 7 UNESCO sites! Bhaktapur was my fave (and the 4th site of day) as it was most lively and the architecture was most intact and near pristine. And it was here that the day’s history finally started to ‘click’, coming alive, I was able to understand the Hindu gods and the symbology, and Buddha. Then Sharkar doubled down on the knowledge, never faltering in answering the detailed questions I had.
For those who love history, philosophy and architecture, I highly recommend the trip. And you cannot find a better, more knowledgeable guide than Sharkar.
