3 minute boat ride to the manta rays from our harbor!
Later tour times are better *statistically* Less boat operators, more mantas! Not guaranteed
other boats carry 20 to 60 people & 30 minute boat ride to & from the site. Avoid the extra people & long boat ride; join us!
20 minutes is allocated to prepare guests before leaving on the boat.
Snorkel time is approximately 30 minutes, not exact. Time with & number of Mantas is not exact, can’t control wildlife.
experienced In-water swim guide, Captain & Lifeguard are stationed at the viewing site, with light board, underwater dive lights, & Manta Rays anticipating your arrival.
You will float on the surface of the water, snorkeling, while holding on to our custom light board. The light board attracts plankton, and in turn the manta rays enjoy swimming close by in order to scoop up the concentrated accumulation of food in the lights below you.
All guests must have basic swimming skills to enter the water.

This was an amazing experience and I highly recommend anyone going to this part of Hawaii to do this if they are able. I am not the biggest fan of the ocean but this experience was surreal and worth every penny!

The staff was super nice and the whole process was very smooth. However, for $100, I don’t think it was worth it. We were in the water for only 30 minutes and saw one manta ray for about 30 seconds. I know they can’t control nature, but I was still expecting more.

From the entire crew when we checked in, to the experience in the water was amazing! Definitely a great experience! With a manta inches from my face and their fin sliding across my body was such a cool experience!

Boat ride out to the site was fine. Saw Mantas the second we got there and they barrel rolled right in front of us at least 5x while we were floating. Spent just the right amount of time in the water to see plenty of Mantas before getting too cold. Face mask constantly leaked, so maybe it was time to get new ones. The "office" situation at check in was disorganized and confusing but every one got on board the boat and the trip went as planned eventually.

Really cool and memorable experience, my wife was very nervous but got in the water and loved it, the guys were brilliant, and the manta rays swam all around us and one barrel - rolled right in front of us. Wonderful experience, highly recommend the tour and the tour guides.

Most incredible tour we did on the Big Island! No words exist to describe how special it was to see these creatures UP CLOSE and personal! Could have stayed out there forever! If there is one thing you do, do this.

Scott, Chase, and Ole were with us giving instructions and an interesting history of the Manta’, and it was evident they had any years of experience doing this tour. This was my seventh trip to Hawaii and I have been blessed to see and do many things but this Manta Ray Snorkel Tour was the best by far. It was priceless and hopefully I intend to do this again in 2025. If you are planning to do a night snorkel they are top notch. ❤️
