Itinerary
On the 2-hour Electric Mountain Bike Tour (Novice Level) you will cruise through Kualoa’s valley roads, pastures, and trails on an e-Mountain Bike. While you still have to peddle, these state-of-the-art eBikes have a small electric motor that gives you a boost up the hills and throughout the ride, making for a fun, active and eco-friendly experience getting out into nature. Our novice experience travels ~6 miles through Kualoa and Ka'a'awa valleys, making 4-5 stops along the journey, providing great photo ops and beautiful views. We’ll have your bike adjusted for you, and begin with a safety assessment and short practice ride before starting the tour.

This experience was a highlight of our vacation in Hawaii. Bored with the usual walking/ hiking options, we tried the novice level electric bike tour, and booked a few days in advance in order to secure good weather and lucked out on being the only group for our time slot so we had a "private" tour. Our guide (forgot his name, sorry) was chill and was training a female to help lead our tour too. He was very patient with us, as we had varying speed/ biking skills and always checked on our comfort and happiness levels during the tour. He was exceptional in taking photos/ videos of us and suggesting poses, which really made for fun and fantastic photos on the iPhone that we would never have received. You may find the tour somewhat short if you do not spend much time taking photos of the specific locations they take you but he was open to us biking around more if we wanted to do that. Solid, working bikes; the helmets were dirty all around though. Tip these young adults who work here when you are done because they work really hard to give you Kualoa info, make sure you are safe, and support your having a good time. Not cheap but worth it. Beautiful location. Easy parking. Fantastic photo memories (so did not have to buy expensive souvenirs)!

Shout out Fallon! She's a great tour guide and won't let you down. This was a great experience and we both loved it. I really enjoyed the stops to take pictures with the cool movie scenes.

We had neglected to read that we were to be at the check-in 45 min prior to tour time and realized it would take us nearly an hour to travel from Waikiki. Called Kualoa Ranch and they could not have been nicer in getting us rescheduled. It had been raining for a couple of days so it was muddy. We had a blast, but came out quite dirty from head to toe. Of course this was the day I decided not to pack the towels and wore white. Caitlin was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable about the ranch and Hawaii and offered an extensive list of restaurants, beaches etc that are local faves. The ranch itself is pure magic. Just beautiful. Highly recommend- just pack towels and don’t wear white 😉

Very disappointed with this trip. Super expensive and we xould have walked it quicker. Not that we were in a rush but the point of doing a bike ride tour is to ride the bike.
Feel like they stretched it out as much as possible so they could change more.
If you are looking for a bike ride this is not the tour for you. If you are looking to do a tour not sitting on a bus then this could work.

My hubby and I had a blast on the Kualoa Ranch e-bike tour! It was both our first time on an e-bike, so we were a bit nervous, but our tour guide Karenna did a great job explaining everything and the safety video helped a lot. Karenna was super fun and was kind enough to take photos of all us riders. The e-bikes are much quieter than the ATV's which I appreciated, being out in nature. Kualoa Ranch is truly a special place, and the
e-bike tour is a great way to experience the mountainous and ocean views. Loved learning about the history of this magical place too. Thank you and keep up the awesome work!

The e-bike tour is the way to go! Others were going on the UTV (you have to reserve them weeks in advance) or horseback. I made my reservation for the e-bike tour the same day. My wife and I got to the ranch and check-in and was told we were the only ones signed up for that tour! SCORE! It was basically a private tour. We watched a safety video then practiced with the bikes. After about 5mins of practice we were on our way. Our tour guide, Christian, was AMAZING! He was hospitable and knowledgeable. We took our time at each site because it was just the 3 of us. My wife was pregnant and easily traversed the hills and offroad areas. We never broke a sweat with the assisted pedal e-bikes. The tour lasted about 2hrs. The UTVs weren't able to go where we went on the bikes and they couldn't talk while driving because the UTVs are too loud. We were able to ride and have conversations. I can't thank Christian enough for being such an awesome guide.

Our e-bike tour was excellent. Unfortunately I forget our guides name but he was awesome. He was sure we were comfortable operating our e-bikes. If he saw someone maybe having trouble went back to them to help. He allowed us all the time we needed for photos never hurried us. Highly recommend

We had trouble deciding which tour to take at Kualoa Ranch, but, in the end, thought e-bikes suited our active family. What a great choice! Our guide, Lewis, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made sure we were safe and saw everything we wanted to see. He also let us know what to expect for trail conditions as we rode through the ranch. Lewis's photography skills were an added bonus: we got some lovely family photos at different scenic spots around the ranch! My husband and I and two teenage children had varying levels of experience with e-bikes; instructions were clear, and the bikes were high quality. We all thoroughly enjoyed this quiet, active tour of Kualoa Ranch. Highly recommend!
