Itinerary
Day 1: Floating fishing village - Lan Ha Bay - Kayaking to Bat cave, Dark cave, Bright cave and sleeping on the boat.
Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Hai Phong, Cat Ba Vietnam
11.00-11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier.
We cruise by with a small junk first. It's easy to get to the beaches and lagoons in the low tide or shallow water areas where the big sleeping boat can not arrive.
Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay.
Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included)
12.30: Having lunch on the boat.
Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave, Bright cave and Dark Cave.
We move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 4:30-5pm (we change boats in the bay).
Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas.
Enjoy the sunset on the bay.
19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat.
Optional squid fishing at night.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay, Cong Tau lagoon, Dau Be island, Ho Ba Ham, Ba Trai Dao, Lan Ha Bay.
Stop At: Tien Ong Cave, Halong Bay Vietnam
- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas.
Visit Dau Be Island. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham cave (3 hidden lagoons and tunnels).
Relax or swimming on a deserted beach at Ba Trail Dao lagoon.
- After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay.
- Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00-15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16.00 to go back Hanoi; Hai Phong; to Ninh Binh; Sa Pa; Ha Giang... or stay another night in Cat Ba).
Duration: 8 hours

Totally recommend this tour to everyone! It is perfect for people who want to visit less touristic areas! The food in the ship was awesome! We visited hidden areas with the kayak and we loved it! Also our tour guide, Bee, was really helpful!

Great Trip with Hang! Don't know the other guides but he was the best (ask him about his magic tricks). We were lucky enough to even see a Langur. Cat Ba Ventures brings you to very nice Lagoons with less tourists than in other spots.
Kayak Trips were great & the food was yummy (especially the squids we fished on our own).

We had such a great time on the boat tour! We had a recommendation for this trip and we are greatful that we chose this company. Going from Cat Ba and great organized itinerary helped us to see the islands without tourists.
We were in a small and calm group of people and our guide Bee was the best guide ever! He was funny, had very good english and gave us so many informations about the trip and also about Vietnam in general.
The boat tour was very nice organized, we were swimming, kayaking or fishing squids but we also had a lot of time for rest.
The room in the boat was big and with big windows for great views. And food on the boat was amazing!

Amazing experience exploring Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. Boat and room was spacious and well maintained, food was delicious and we had the opportunity to go to quieter parts of the bay. The best part of the trip was the guide, Tony. Kept the group well organised and was incredibly entertaining. Trip wouldn’t have been as fun without him

Brilliant experience with a fun and energetic guide (Thinh/Bee) who took us to all the fun spots in Ha Long Bay by kayak and boat, thoroughly enjoyed.

Thinh/Bee was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He helped make a good trip an awesome one 🥰 100 stars 🌟. We enjoyed the whole experience. The food was amazing, the rooms were lovely and the kayaking was fantastic. Thinh informed us all about the islands and caves around us and has a good sense of humour too. Thank you so much! We went on the 2D 1N trip with Hàng and crew and had a great time.
We spent the day on a separate smaller boat before transferring to the bigger boat in the evening after activities. We were often the only boat around and the only group kayaking so it was very peaceful and relaxing. Hàng had good knowledge of the routes and caves and made sure we were safe getting in and out with the tides.
The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds and good AC. There is plenty of food.
Boat was spacious but isn’t luxury but you don’t pay a luxury price. It’s still very comfortable with plenty of loungers on the deck and nice decor.
We saw a bit of rubbish in the water but not too much compared to what people said who had been to the main part of Ha Long Bay.
Hàng was very enthusiastic and had great magic tricks. It was Viet’s first tour and he was very professional and friendly.

The tour team was easy to contact and to arrange the two day one night tour. A lot of nature and great food. Hang our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He took time to get to know the group, arrange the activities and respond all our questions. Every step of the tour is very well organized and Hang just makes everything smooth! Thank you!!!
