we will visit the historical district of panama, funded in 1673, a small neighborhood whith a lot of historical buildings and houses that takes you back in time during this visit.

Stop At: Amador Causeway (Calzada de Amador), Av Amador, Panama City Panama
Visit the Causeway Amador, (Causeway Amador is a popular tourist destination located at the southern entrance of the Panama Canal, stretching nearly 6 kilometers into the Pacific Ocean. It connects the mainland of Panama City to four small islands, Naos, Perico, Culebra, and Flamenco. The causeway was built using soil and rocks excavated during the construction of the canal and was named after Manuel Amador Guerrero, the first President of Panama. The newly renovated land bridge is a popular spot for walking and cycling, with bike lanes running the length of the road. It also offers some of the best vantage points for watching large container ships enter and exit the canal. The area features many tourist-related venues and activities, including a variety of fine cuisine, bike rentals, and electric scooters, and the Biomuseo, one of the city’s best museums that celebrates Panama’s incredible biodiversity

The Panama Canal Administration Building is the main administration building for the agency that runs the Panama Canal, previously the Panama Canal Commission, now the Panama Canal Authority. It is located in Balboa Heights, Panama City. The building was built by the U.S. and inaugurated on July 15, 1914, exactly a month before the official opening of the Panama Canal. It houses the offices of the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá (Panama Canal Authority)

Miguel did a great job of coordinating and helping me maximize my few hours in Panama. He was very attentive to my personal flight schedule and kept me updated on our stops and timing. With his help, I learned a lot about the Panama Canal, saw ships passing through, saw a sloth, and got some amazing viewpoints and pictures. If you want to see the places on the itinerary, you need to book this tour because it’s a great value compared to how much it would cost to arrange the sightseeing yourself.

Logan was knowledgeable and efficient and was a pleasure to have as a guide. In a 4 hour period we were able to see a quick tour of the Panama Canal and an imax movie about the history of the canal. We went through the old and new cities and got a great overview of the area. Well spent layover.

It was an excellent idea to use the layover time to visit Panamá City with Miguel Tours Panamá. Miguel is a very knowledgeable guide and timed the visit to the Panamá canal perfectly so I can see 2 big ships going through the locks and the canal . He also recommended s few very good spots for buying souvenirs! Thank you, Miguel , for a great experience in Panamá City!

The tour with Miguel is one of the best tours I ever had on Viator. It was like getting to see Panama with a local friend, very knowledgeable of the city. We had a good time visiting the old city, seeing boats getting through the Canal, plus a tasty lunch in a local restaurant. Definitely recommend him!

I had a six hour layover in Panama City and decided to book this tour especially since the reviews were great. I arrived in Panama at about 6:00 am and Miguel picked me up at the airport. To keep it short. This tour is well worth it's price and Miguel is an excellent tour guide.
The tour significantly added to my journey and has allowed me to explore some of what Panama has to offer. It makes me want to come back.
Miguel is simply a great person. He is very friendly and very professional and knows a lot about the history of the country. He is very accommodating and just a nice person overall.
I really enjoyed every moment with him and have no complaints. I do not have any regrets and while the tour might seem pricey, in the grand scheme of things, It beats (by far) having to just stay in the airport. Panama is a beautiful place and deserves to be seen even for the a few hours.

Miguel was a great tour guide. He knows his history very well. Speaks fluent English and Spanish. Takes you to major parts of the city including the canal. He extended the tour to more hours than I expected. Easy pick up and drop off from the airport. Would recommend this tour guide 100%. I want to come back to Panama and try out the other tours his company provides.

Mariel was a fantastic tour guide. She picked me up from the airport and took me to see several sites around the city explaining this history. She made sure to point out good photo spots, took me to a lunch spot, and finally to see the Panama Canal. She was an excellent driver as well, navigating the Panama City rush hour traffic with comfort. But most importantly, she was a knowledgeable, funny, and amazing person and it was a pleasure spending the afternoon with her - it felt like I was hanging out with a close friend. We even car-karaoked on the way back to the airport! Would recommend this tour to anyone looking for something to do on a 5+ hour stopover in PTY.
