St. Mark's Basilica can be subject to unforeseen closures due to liturgical celebrations or high tides. In this event, your guide will give the tour from the exterior of the Basilica or we will contact clients as soon as possible to arrange a suitable alternative.
Due to the religious nature of the Basilica, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. A scarf or shawl is acceptable. The activity provider cannot be held responsible for those denied entry

I’ve done a lot of tours in my day, but this was one of the best. Our tour guide, Elena, was absolutely amazing. She was fun, passionate, and full of knowledge. The tour was three hours with a break between the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared an incredible amount of history mixed with interesting facts. We were absolutely fascinated by the entire tour. Would definitely do again. I do think it is important to be aware that there there are many tall, uneven steps in the Basilica. If you struggle with steps, you may want to skip the upstairs portion of this tour.

Excellent tour given by Emanuel who was both very knowledgeable and injected a nice sense of humor as well. Emanuel shared both the Basilica and the Doges Palace in an informed and balanced way. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a great host but the experience was not worth the price. We still found ourselves waiting in lines and for what we paid, I don't think I would repeat the experience.
