On this hands on cooking class you will how to cook step by step a four course menu ( starter, fish dish, meat dish and dessert ). During the class you will taste local products on the beverages. Its importante for us that you mention your health restrictions or religious restrictions, that we will be able to choose the menu best fit the class for all participants.

It was fun to meet up with other travelers and cook together. It wasn't really a cooking class per se but still fun and worth the adventure.

The cooking class was easy going, fun, informative, and most importantly, delicious! There was good camaraderie within the group. The chef was skilled, communicated clearly, and somehow managed to juggle several cooks and recipes while remaining calm.

A wonderful evening meeting some great people and learning how to cook new recipes original to Portugal.
The chefs were interacting and engaging, definitely great experience learning how to cook Portuguese food.
The workshop was in a professional kitchen and that made it easy to navigate around the space safely and we got to enjoy all that was made with some good local wine and cheese.
l'd recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning how to cook some
Portuguese food.

Start your class with local wine, olives, cheese and sausage. Prep and cook traditional Portuguese meal as a group. Overseen by 2 instructors and assistant . Very informative . Sit and enjoy outstanding meal with wine pairing. Upon completion you will leave recipes for all dishes that were made in the class.

Tour was a big disappointment. I have done many other cooking classes in other cities, and they usually give me a feel for the culture and people. This chef was uninspiring and had a flat affect. He was unable to illicit any energy from the group, was not engaging and mostly people stood around waiting. The wine was scarce with two bottles opened for 12- people. Had us stand around while one person fried literally 52 cod fritters (for 10 people). This took forever and most were not even touched. The sous chef just stood there and stared at us. Not sure he could speak English. The group was very friendly and nice but everyone was disappointed. Skip this one!

This was great fun to do for an evening on our vacation! Prior to cooking, there was cheese & wine. Everything was organized and our chef explained everything clearly. We made about 6 different dishes with other several other folks who were traveling and had dinner together. I would definitely do this again!

Great fun. Big thanks to our chef instructor who was so engaging, charming, and funny. An apology, but just can’t remember his name now. A really great evening. Total class was 8 “students”. We learned a lot, drank lots of wine, had a delicious dinner, and laughed plenty. Fun and informative.
