Stopping at some unique places, I will show you how to live like a real local during this walking gourmet experience! Thanks to Matilda, we had an amazing tour!
Each stop of the food tour was delicious and the portions of the samples were big, definitely was surprised by the size.
Not only was the tour itself great, but Matilda’s wonderful personality made it so much better! She was friendly, funny and beyond personable. I would highly recommend this tour and a great way to meet other travelers!

Raquel was great at showing us around! This food tour was excellent! We had delicious bites and beverages at every restaurant. We felt that we got a great introduction to the tastes of Portugal. Would highly recommend this walking trip.

Highly recommend booking this food tour to break up your day whilst in Lisbon. We got to explore the old town Alfama which is lovely and authentic ~ Matilda our host was really friendly and happy to answer all questions & give advice. She went above and beyond what a tour guide is expected to do.
The food was delicious, generous sizing with extra servings of wine too!
If you have any dietary requirements: be sure to email before hand as a heads up!

The food tour was perfect! Matilde was so fun to be with, full of energy and full of so much information & history of Lisbon/Portugal! Would highly recommend this food tour! Stopped at some great places, had good food and drinks…we also met some great people in our tour group!

This food tour was amazing! We learned so much about traditional Portuguese cuisine and were able to try a variety of food and drinks. Our tour guide, Raquel, gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip. We left full and happy. Couldn’t recommend this experience more!

We really enjoyed the food tour and while all the food was amazing and authentic….. Matilde however was spectacular. She had amazing energy and palpable passion for her country, her city and most of all the food of Portugal.

We somehow ended up at the wrong meeting spot, but they got ahold of us through what’s App and sent the address to their first stop, so they went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss our tour! The guide (Mathilda) was excellent, she provided lots of information (including a bunch of recommendations at the end of the tour for other restaurants) was just a lot of fun. All the tastings (food and alcohol) were excellent and I loved that we went to some small, family owned restaurants. It was a lot of food, but very enjoyable spread over several hours. The shop owner of the dessert stop (including sour cherry liquor shot in a chocolate cup!) was as sweet as the pastry. We had a great tour group and was a vey fun evening!

Matilde was our wonderful guide and we had a fun group taking in the lovely food and drink of Alfama District. Lots of great information but never a bore, food was delicious and we tried things and places we wouldn’t ordinarily do.
We try to do a food tour in many of the places we visit as it’s a great way to orientate a new place but also get tips on food/ restaurants/ language.
I did some research before I chose this company as you never really know what you are in for and it didn’t disappoint. Would highly recommend- you will be full after this tour!
