Our first stop is at Vik and Haukland, two Caribbean-like white sandy beaches with emerald green waters that will make you forget the temperature and want to have a swim.

A stop by a charming fjord with incredible turquoise waters in which you can find thousands of shells and small fragments of white corals.

Admire the oldest church in Lofoten, built in 1780 by wood imported from Russia. (outside visit, since the church is normally closed).

A walk through a real fishing village among the famous red "rorbu" cabins. Possibility to visit the Fishery museum or the Stockfish museum (not included, must be required in advance)

Longer stop for a possible lunch (optional, not included) at Anita's Sjomat, fresh fish dishes and small shop with a unique view on the Reinefjorden.

A stunning view over the valley stretching towards the fjord and the towering mountains of the island of Flakstad.

Went on a trip with folk we "met" via a Facebook group for our cruise, so we were 5 altogether. Daylight hours were very short in November so Damiano our guide/driver agreed to meet us early and get on the road in the dark so that we could make the most of the light driving back.
We managed to see a lot of the Southern islands, much more than on an organized trip and we stopped for us where we wanted and also where Damiano knew the best views were. We had a lovely fun and relaxed day, a highlight of our 2 week cruise.
Damiano was an excellent guide and told us plenty of information, and made sure we saw what we wanted. He was very patient with us, drove very safely, and really good fun. We accidentally left a valuable item in the minibus and Damiano let us know and returned it to us in the UK very quickly.
Thoroughly recommend Heart of Lofoten tours, for a good qaulity, unique insight into the beautiful Lofoten Islands.

I initially contacted Andrea some months ago to arrange this tour.
There were 4 of us but we needed 8 at least to get the tour up.
I managed to arrange this through Cruise Critic with fellow passengers on our ship.
We were met at the dock by Andrea and directed to our very comfortable van and our guide for the day,Damiano.
He was awesome and we had a fun day with him touring the southern spots of the Lofoten islands.
We had a lunch stop and we’re able to purchase some cod burgers, fish soup and the local beer.
Well organised and plenty of stops for photos.
