You will meet your guide just outside the Louvre, and then you will waste no time to purchase tickets at the door as we will take care of pre-booking them for you! After security checks you will get straight down to business and start the exploration of the world famous Louvre museum !
Originally built in the 12th century, it has been both a fortress and royal residence over the centuries, and now it provides our expert guide with a multitude of themes on which to focus, such as the Egyptian Gods or the Legend of the Mona Lisa. Your children will be intrigued and entertained by fascinating facts about the history of the museum and the masterpieces it houses. You will be spoilt for choice of works of art on display by Géricault, Canova, Delacroix, Bernini and Michelangelo, to name just a few. Then there are the Crown Jewels, Napoleon III's Apartments, or the most famous exhibit of them all, the Mona Lisa.

Had an absolutely amazing time. Carol had an wealth of knowledge that she was able to share with us and help to keep the minion engaged. For our first time in the Louve she was able to give us a good overview of the highlights and knowledge that we will come back again to really explore.

Planning a trip to the Louvre can be super overwhelming, especially when you have a child with you. My daughter is 10 and although she loves museums, I knew we wouldn’t be able to keep her attention on our own. We booked the Skip-the-line highlights tour and couldn’t have been happier. We met Anna at 9 am, she got us in via private entrance, and provided great memory games and scavenger hunts for our daughter. Just enough information and the perfect amount of time!

Lauranne was so great and patient. She engaged my 12 year old and got her to look up from her phone!! We learned so many unique tips and heard great stories. Thanks for getting us in great spots so we could get the best shots.

I found this tour online and I’m so glad that I did!! Anna was our tour guide and she was absolutely AMAZING with our 9 and 12 yo girls! We signed up for the 2 hour Louvre tour which was just the right amount of time. She kept the girls entertained and even brought some kids’ books so that they’d better understand as well. My daughters said they enjoyed when Anna did a scavenger hunt - made it more fun! I would highly recommend this tour for those with kids, even better if you can ask for Anna!

Pauline from Rafaelle tours and events was a fantastic guide for our “Louvre Highlights Tour for Kids.” She has a fantastic energy and passion for the works of art and it was wonderful to share in that. Pauline was kind enough to bring along maps, created a scavenger hunt and even gave us small gifts at the end of our tour - Elle est très gentille!
Our children (8, 12) had smiles on their faces the entire time because Pauline did such an exceptional job engaging at their level of understanding, but the adults never felt left out either. All of us learned so much, not just about the artwork, but also the history of France. Truly a wonderful experience and the only way to see the Louvre. Merci beaucoup Pauline!

This guide was so worth it. Dominique is an art historian who took us through the louvre at a perfect pace ensuring the kids (12 & 9) were engaged throughout. She was thoughtful and kind and amended the tour when she saw subjects that sparked the kids’ interest and still gave us a nice overview of all that is in the louvre. Highly recommend. This was a very different experience to what we would have had on our own. All questions answered. She was so knowledgeable and knew the tricks to avoid the crowds but still see the main attractions.

Ana was great with the kids - kept them interested and energized. She had interactive style.
