We had an AMAZING time with our guide Andres — could not recommend this tour more highly! We were debating simply going to the arena ourselves but Andres gave us the history of Lucha Libre & luchadores & answered all of our questions during the night. It wouldn’t have been the same at all without him! Also the mezcal tasting is fantastic & even though we loved it coming in, we have a far greater appreciation for how it’s made now! We’ll definitely bring friends back on this tour.

SO MUCH FUN!!! This was the highlight of our trip. Andres, was such a great guide and as a former Luchador, had lots of great stories and insight to share. The Mezcal tasting was also very fun. Even got our own mask. Highly recommend.

Andrés was a magnificent tour guide. Friendly, knowledgeable, funny. We loved this tour! The introduction to mezcal and the opportunity to chow down on chips and guacamole as well as crickets (Delicious! Sorry little bugs but you were.) was much appreciated and our bartender at the mezcal bar (Resina?…) was lovely. I wish my Spanish was better but Andrés did a great job of translating. The lucha libre itself was SO MUCH FUN!!! Andrés taught us the ropes and what to yell and for whom to cheer. Highly recommend this tour. Stu & Teri, Vancouver, BC May/24

Very well organized and enjoyable evening! Our guide, Andres, could not have done a better job at making us feel more comfortable before, during, and after the matches! Wonderful orientation to Mezcal and wrestling! Highly recommend!

The group size was to big. The tour guide Andres was super nice and very accommodating.
We had no information that the walk from the Mezcal tasting to the Lucha Libre Arena takes 50 minutes.

With a great guide like Andres leading us around Alameda Central, schooling us on Lucha Libre and teaching us about the wonderful world of mezcal, we couldn't have had a better time. Andres brought a lot of passion for lucha libre and was really helpful translating our bartender's explanations of the different mezcal flavors. He was also really knowledgeable about the city, easy to chat with and, of course, taught us some really helpful Spanish phrases. Definitely worth checking out!

We met Andres at meeting point and walked to bar for mezcal tasting. The tasting itself was great, tried five different types of mezcal and they were all delicious. Got an extra wee bit of your favourite too. Some people got food at the bar. We then walked to the arena, on the way we stopped various times for Andres to explain about the history, culture etc around Lucha Libra. Andres was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen too. We also got our own masks to keep.
At the arena the Lucha libra was brilliant, went straight to our seats and ordered beers. The show was very entertaining! All different types of people, so I would say it is family friendly as we saw children with other groups. Our seats were great too, next to where the Luchadors entered and exited. Once show was done Andres took us us to a quieter spot to get Ubers home, and waited with us all to make sure we were safe.
Definitely worth the money. We had so much fun and would do it again!
