We had the most magical experience with tour guides Oscar and Gustavo. They are kind and they make sure you have the best experience of the tour. They explain everything with dedication and they always make sure you feel safe. I highly recommend them and the tour is amazingly beautiful

Beautiful starry night but just 48 hours after a storm that had really stirred up the sea, so not optimal conditions for the bioluminescence. Diego was our guide and went out with my traveling partner (not very adventurous retired person and myself, fairly adventurous and fit) and 2 women who appeared game. A bit more explanation that we were walking across an uneven beach in the dark would have been helpful and possibly arming at least some of the party with flashlights before we left would have been nice but we made it into the kayaks them paddled up the island away from lights about a mile. Very beautiful, tiny sliver of moon and peaceful seas. Paddled to a sandbar and walked around, small amount of phytoplankton but beautiful none the less. Diego kept up a discourse about the fish and the currents and the flora and fauna as well as a relatively good description of the constellations and the stories surrounding them.

Went the wrong time of year but our tour guide Abraham was really knowledgeable. The water was pretty choppy too but they still took us out. Great evening highly recommend

Tour started 3 hours later than originally planned. We were then made to walk in our bare feet, through stinky rotting seaweed/sargassum. When we got to the supposed ladder which we couldn’t see, my husband couldn’t actually get up because every time he stepped he sunk in past his knees. The tour operators didn’t offer help as they were pulling the kayaks through a clear area to the beach. We have been on other excursions and the tour operators have helped people on and off steps/boats etc. They clearly did not care. Going back in the daylight I was clearly able to see that we did not need to be walking where they made us walk. Given that the tour had not yet started and it was almost 2am and my husband had to work at 5am we could not stay any longer. We requested a refund (even partially would have been acceptable) nothing….

Gustavo and Djego did a great job. Diego picked us up in time and at the right location. Gustavo did the kayak tour with us. He showed us different stars, planets and the bioluminescence. We were able to swim in the glowing water. All in all an awesome experience.

It’s not that easy to take pictures. However, the experience is worth it, and it doesn’t require that much experience since the time kayaking is not that long

An amazing experience, to see the night sky and the stars so clearly felt like once in a lifetime, and the bioluminescence is out of this world! Diego was a great guide with lots of knowledge and a chilled vibe, felt totally safe and secure as a solo female traveller
