Inside there are unique works such as the Monument to Alfonso XII, the Crystal Palace, the Big Pond, the Parterre, the Puerta de Felipe IV, the Royal Astronomical Observatory, and even a Romanesque hermitage. El Retiro is also always a reference for legends and stories related to some of its monuments and sources. A park in which treasures have been found, and that has a secret guardian, a goblin that according to legend and did mischief in the time of Philip V. Great experience. Great guide. We enjoyed it very much. Took the 1 hour segway tour and it ended much too quickly.

First time riding a Segway and thought it was excellent ! We did the 1 hour tour of Retiro and it was just enough. The guide was great, took lots of pictures of us while riding, was knowledgeable about the park and ensured we were safe. The park is huge and we would not have visited all of it, had we not been on a Segway.

Great instruction on how to operate the segways for our family group of four beginners. Christelle was our guide and she did a fantastic job of conducting our tour in both English and French for our family and another family in our tour group. It’s a fun and great quick way to tour the highlights of El Retiro Park. I highly recommend this tour company to see the park as there are other Segway tour companies but they are located further from the park and you have to negotiate your Segway through the city streets before you even make it to El Retiro. With this tour company, you entire time is spent in the park on the segways.

A great experience and a wonderful way to see the Retiro. Easy to learn, my first time. The staff and guides very professional, specially Miguel our guide. The visit was fully enjoyed.
