Magnolia plantation was beautiful.
Our driver Allen was very knowledgeable and friendly.
However, our only complaint is that we arrived a little after 11:00 and the van was scheduled to leave at 2:15. Even though the plantation is open until 5:00. We were definitely disappointed with that because we expected to be able to stay the entire time. If we knew how short the visit would be, we would have obtained our own form of transportation to visit because we didn't get to see or do as much as we wanted.

We were picked up at the visitor center on time. Benji, our tour operator, was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged. The house and garden tour were good. The grounds were beautiful! The only issue is that we didn’t have enough time to do the tram ride and take a short cafe break. Also missed out on the slave to freedom tour. Need to add some time to tour so as to not to feel so rushed.

The driver/guide was very knowledgeable sharing a lot of information about Charleston and the Plantation to and from the property.
At Magnolia Plantation, which we loved, he again gave us valuable information and guided us to the key places of interest as well as getting us "jump the queue" entrance to the MAgnolia mansion.
Magnolia Plantation gardens and swamp tour are excellent and our guide round the former slave area was also very well informed and very helpful.
We highly recommend

The gardens ae beautiful and the house tour is great. It is not one of those grand plantation houses but you really get a feel for life on a plantation.
