This is a typical itinerary for this product

We will first meet at the Entrance Hall of the Handmade Shop where we will learn about the humble origins of this shoe that today is considered a luxury item in the fashion world.
Duration: 15 minutes

Then we will learn about the different traditional materials and we will choose the different colors, sizes and styles.
Duration: 20 minutes

Once ready, we are going to sit down on the Workshop tables and we will stitch our own traditional espadrilles, and then learn the different ways to lace them up.

To finish our lovely experience we will open a bottle of champagne, dance, take pictures with our new shoes and have fun!
Each guest will leave with its own creation and with a really cool story to tell to friends, something that it is hardly available to the visitors, not even locals. A wearable memory of your visit to San Juan.

It was an amazing time and the people helping us design our espadrilles were super helpful and really friendly. It was also great learning about the history of the shoe and how they are made. I would absolutely do this again.

Great investment and wonderful experience with my mom. The instructor Alex was patient, funny, helpful, and very kind. Everyone working in the store was! We had a bottle of champagne to ourselves and a lite snack...and a cute pair of unique Spanish shoes to take home

Where to start with this class?!? It was such a blast! My friend and I booked it to celebrate my birthday and we had such a wonderful time. Before booking it my friend was very apprehensive to book because she hated espadrilles. This experience has converted her! She is absolutely in love with her pair and I can't wait to wear mine. Alex, Natalia and the entire staff at Handmade are all such gems and clearly passionate about what they do. They worked their magic educating us on the history of espadrilles but also worked to made sure we walked out of there with something we will love. We even got a quick dance lesson to show off our shoes. The team at Handmade even surprised me with a cake and some champagne to celebrate my birthday :) We both left with wonderful memories and gorgeous shoes. We will happily be back to see our friends and shop some more :)

One of the best experiences I have done. Unique, authentic, local, fun, and you get to keep you keep the shoes to use afterwards! Totally recommended. Champagne was the cherry on top. Don't worry about the difficulty, anyone can do it, they adapt to your level of skills. Go with friends and family!

Handmade never deceive you! They truly make magic. I have already participated in other workshops they host in Barcelona and every experience is just lovely and unforgettable :). In this occasion I chose to make my own custom espadrilles. The staff were extremely helpful during the whole process and I couldn't be happier with the final result and the amazing experience me and my friends had the pleasure to live. I’m really looking forward to seeing you again soon!!!!

Fue una experiencia super bonita, estuve con mi madre y mis amigas, nos dieron cava, comimos jamón 😍(estaba buenísimo) los host son super amables, tienen mucha energia y son super alegres.
❤️ Nos dieron muchos tips y sugerencias de restaurantes y puntos de interes para visitaren la ciudad.
Nos fuimos del lugar con nuestras alpargatas puestas! SON PRECIOSAS ❤️ Es una experiencia imperdible ❤️
