Stop At: Topanga Ranch Motel, 4448002901, Malibu, CA 90265, USA
We meet up and drop off at Topanga State Beach. You can arrive early to enjoy this beautiful, scenic area.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Broad Beach, 31200 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265-2694
Our first stop is north of Point Dume, at this amazing private beach. This location is like no other in the world, with a view of the beautiful coastline, celebrity homes, and the Santa Monica Mountains as the backdrop. You will see surfers, boats, and friendly people as the tour guide does a quick photo shoot of you and your group.
Duration: 20 minutes
Stop At: Point Dume State Beach and Natural Preserve, Cliff Drive Birdview Ave, Malibu, CA 90265-4280
The northern tip of the Santa Monica Bay is rich in nature and heritage, but is difficult to reach for the average traveler. Cruiseline makes this location easily accessible. We will make a stop here for you to take a walk through the natural preserve over looking the beach. It is very beautiful and serene. This location provides amazing views views of Catalina Island, as you'll visit the seals inhabiting the beach down below, or an occasional dolphin swimming by.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Paradise Cove, 28128 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265-3928
This private beach resort is the only one of it's kind along the entire California Coast! You can legally bring your own alcohol and drink right on the beach! There is a long history dating back to the 1940's when this land was purchased by a small family, who launched boats for local fishermen. Nestled just south of Point Dume, this small cove contains it's own fishing pier, an awesome seafood restaurant, and private cabanas. It's a very festive location with amazing scenery.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Malibu Country Mart, 3835 Cross Creek Rd, Malibu, CA 90265-4978

Technically, he gave us wine, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. The “snacks” were old chips, unfortunately. He was GREAT as a tour guide, but the quality of amenities wasn’t up to par. We also only went next to a wine bar at the end, but with no guidance; the itinerary showed 3 winery’s to expect to visit. He also had to wait to give us Stella Rosa wine because he forgot cups. He tried very hard to accommodate us, but it just wasn’t what we were hoping for.

If you would like a bit of a finer cruise with better snacks and delicious wine this is not the tour for you. If you don’t mind a couple used bottles of Gallo or some used cheap five dollar bottle of wine… this is the tour for you! Yes it’s free… because it’s cheap ass crap! But if you are not picky…have at it. You can literally drive up Pacific Coast Highway and see everything you are going to see in half an hour. These hidden beaches are not so hidden, and most all people in the area and surrounding areas know about them. He talks up a good game making it seem like you are learning about so many hidden gems, but spend five minutes at a local coffee shop, and the barista can tell you everything in 1 minute that he tells you in 4 to 5 hours. Also, don’t add to his tour information with any of your own stuff because he gets extremely territorial.

I had family visiting from Chicago that had never been to Malibu and they absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was so friendly and full of information. My boyfriend and I even learned some great tips and secrets we plan to use on our next visit to Malibu. Thank you!

This was a fabulous tour and the highpoint to our Girl's Weekend! Gavin was so personable and made the tour fun and interesting. We loved the fact that it was scenic, with a bit of history, a bit of "movie stars", a bit of wine and a bit of shopping...something for everyone. All locations provided plenty of time without being too rushed or too long. Keep in mind layers in Malibu is smart...the open windows to part of the van make the tour but my suggestion is to bring a hat and/or sweatshirt. We had a blast...thank you!!! We did a mid-week booking and were pleased to find that we were the only three taking the tour that day. Some tour companies would have cancelled due to lack of a "minimum". Not this one.
Our group consisted of mom, dad and daughter. Daughter lives in LA, mom and dad coming in from the east coast. We took this tour to get a flavor for the Malibu area, not to become experts in grape growing or wine production. The tour does exactly what they advertise - give you an inside look at some areas even locals may not know about. Even our daughter was able to learn new details about a place she has visited many times (like how to access some pretty awesome 'private' beaches).
Our guide, Gavin, was the consummate host/tour guide. He is knowledgeable and encourages questions as you go from stop to stop. No, you will not experience gourmet food, or fine wines but you will get some interesting tidbits of what it is like to live in Malibu. If you want fine wine, take the $500 tours . . .

We had a great time and enjoyed our tour of Malibu! We packed our own bag with snacks and alcoholic beverages although our driver had plenty of alcohol to share!
