I had an incredible trip where I saw plenty of interesting birds, insects and bigger animals like tapir and capybara. José was our guide, and with his knowledge as a biologist, he taught us all sorts of facts about the national park. On the way back, we stopped by a rescue center to say hi to some monkeys and I got to hold a baby sloth!! The food and accommodation were amazing too - all in all 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

The views are incredible, the biodiversity is absolutely unbelievable. There is something wherever you look it's a wildlife photographers paradise. It has been an experience of a life time and would love to come back at some point. The guide was great (jose') along with the cook (Barbie) amazing! The journey down to the rainforest is not for the faint hearted, I'm not a lover of heights especially when I'm not in control of the vehicle, edges giving away and narrow bendy roads. It is worth it but it's pretty scary.

We did the 4-day tour in the Manu National Park and we‘re more than pleasant about the Trip. Our guide Jose was very friendly and helpful, especially when we were not feeling well, he went to the pharmacy with us and took care of us. With his great knowledge as a biologist, he was able to answer every question in detail and we learned a lot. The food was very delicious and the cook was according to our wishes and preferences, which was very kind. She also made us special food and tea, when we were not feeling well. The accommodations were clean with their own bathroom, towels and mosquito net. In Addition there was always water, tea and coffee provided. On the excursions we saw snakes, monkeys and many special animals. A lot was explained to us about the plants, trees and the national park. Especially the tour by boat to a lake in the rainforest was very nice. Overall, the tour was a complete success and definitely recommended.

José was a wonderful guide. With his knowledge as a biologist he taught us so much in just 4 days. The tour was well organized and the food delicious. The lodges are very nice. Mosquito nets, running water and electricity. We were lucky and spotted many animals. Definitely one to remember and highly recommended.

Guide Marco is a pervert. While I was in the restroom in our accommodation, I observed Marco peering through our window from behind the lodge. Additionally, we discovered numerous footprints behind our lodge (please refer to the attached photos), with some found near other lodges as well. These footprints were positively identified as matching Marco's sandals. The lodges are quite basic, lacking curtains in the WC of the first lodge (see photo) and without hot water. However, both the chef and bus driver were very helpful and friendly.

The tour was awesome! I especially loved the fact that our guide, José Medina, is a local biologist / researcher, so he had tons of super interesting information to share about the different ecosystems, plants, animals, insects, etc. We went in the slow (rainy) season in February, so it was *extremely* rainy and wet, but that made it a fun adventure, and it also meant that there were not too many other people around (and only 4 in our group). We saw lots of cool plants, instects and birds, as well as the delightful Natura (semi-domesticated tapir rescued by one of the locals, who comes to hang out at the lodge sometimes). We didn't see too many big mammals due to the wet season, however on the last day José took us to the local animal sanctuary, where we got to play with a bunch of very friendly monkeys, baby sloth, capybara, etc. The food, prepared daily by Sabina, was delicious -- local fare, with a soup, main dish and small dessert or fruit at each meal. The menu was different every day. The staff were all super awesome. Special shout out to our driver on the way there, Jair, who was super skillful and smooth, and who went above and beyond, jumping in in his flip flops to clear the road with a machete and his bare hands when a small landslide blocked our path.
