Derek and David from 907 were awesome guides. I learned so much about the area on our 2hr drive to the glacier. Chris, our guide on the glacier tour was also amazing! I had so much fun on the glacier and got some great exercise as well. The place we ate lunch had great food options. I would def recommend this day trip. 10/10!!! Great job guys!!!

This was a phenomenal tour. Our guide, Caleb, was super knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about Alaska on our drive to Mantanuska Glacier. Once we arrived, the actual glacier did not disappoint. You have the opportunity to walk 2.2 miles of the glacier while learning about the glacier, looking at the gorgeous blue ice, walking through ice caves, and even trying glacier water (it's awesome!). After the tour, and something I didn't even realize was included, was lunch at a cute restaurant with gorgeous views from above of the glacier, which was the perfect ending to the trip. Overall, the whole tour was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who is interested in seeing the glacier up close and personal. The only thing I would warn others about is of the risks associated with hiking the glacier, which I was completely unaware of before the tour. If you don't follow the path set for that day, you are at a huge risk of falling into a crevice that could be hundreds of feet down. It's a little scary learning about this as you are on your way there, and I wish I had known in advance. But as long as you follow the trail, it is perfectly safe and I want to note that I felt completely safe while I was on the glacier.

You gotta try this! Glacier only forms at certain areas and a giangantic glacier you can safely access and walk for two hours is rarer! The guide explains generations of different types: cracks, caves, holes, spikes, layers, etc and you can closely observe the differences! Professional guide, well prepared service and one of life experience!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a glacier hike, but it ended up being one of the coolest travel excursions I’ve ever done. The scenery was majestic, and we spent a couple of hours exploring the glacier. The hike was not rigorous, but there was a fair amount of walking involved (about two miles). The beauty of nature in Alaska can’t be surpassed. I loved this and would recommend it to anyone if you are in the Anchorage area.

Exceptional day with Caleb and Ywon! (Hope I remembered how to spell Yvonne in Polish correctly!) We saw sites I never imagined and can’t possibly explain. The shuttle was perfectly on time, the gear was great (we borrowed some snow pants and the ice cleats worked great), we loved learning about the glacier science and grateful for all the photos they helped us capture. 10/10!!!
