This was one of our favorite experiences in all of our time in Greece. I can’t speak highly enough of our guide, Nasos, and the amazing experience he provided my wife and I! The way the tour is constructed is an amazing mix of food, history, great conversation, and beautiful views you simply will not get touring on your own. The lunch at Milia carefully crafted and selected by your guide is an incredible experience. I will recommend this tour with Nasos to any and everyone visiting Crete!

My husband, friends and I recently went on this tour. It was our favorite experience of the time we spend in Chania. Nasos was our tour guide and he was very informative and engaging the entire time. He planned an excellent lunch built our specific likes and dislikes. I highly recommend this tour. The roads up the mountain are very winding, so if you are prone to motion sickness, you may want to take meds prior. This was a full day (6 hours), and we enjoyed every minute!

We’ve had an excellent day being comfortably driven up into the mountains by Stavros who is both friendly and very knowledgeable. Highlights were Greek coffee beside the oldest olive tree on Crete; the informative and fun wine and olive oil tasting and still room for a fabulous lunch at Milia eco retreat. If you want to experience Cretan nature, wildlife, bee lifecycles (!), history and wonderful food and wine, this is the tour for you. Worth every penny!
Thank you, Stavros,
Vicky and Andrew

Nasos was such a fantastic guide - very well versed in Cretan history and customs - as well as very thoughtful of the comfort of everyone on the tour. We really enjoyed the visit to the ancient olive tree, the olive oil and wine tasting and the off road segment to see parts of Crete we might not have otherwise seen. Lunch at Milia was incredibly tasty and it was amazing to see the stone houses there. We highly recommend this tour to others. Nasos was also incredibly helpful in finding my partner's glasses case that had fallen down in the car, bringing it back to us incredibly promptly. Thank you Nasos!

I enjoyed hearing the history of the olive trees and how they are picked. The fresh squeezed orange juice at the olive farm and lunch at Milia restaurant was excellent.

Excellent lunch including drinks. Travelling in a 4WD off the "beaten track" was interesting & a place you probably wouldn't find yourself.

Going on the Milia Mountain-Safari tour with Nasos was like spending the day with a good friend that wanted to show us around. He stopped at all the right places. Each place and each drive (whether on the highway or mountain track) was an adventure. He gave us time at each place to enjoy our stay without being rushed. The food was excellent and the experience was wonderful. It was certainly a step above the other tours I have been on.
