After reading how tall the hanging bridges were I was a little scared but our tour guide Neifryn made me feel very comfortable, he was very knowledgeable and got us some great photos of the wildlife. The bridges and scenery are beautiful, we love it, no time to be scared. Pura Vida!!

Most of our group was there for the wildlife, but I was mesmerized by the plants! And the views, of course! We did see lots of critters, thanks to our guide (Arturo?). It was a wonderful day. The walk was slightly challenging for the two of us 70-somethings, but only a couple of times (one or two inclines and one decline that was hard on my husband's fake knees). I think we did a pretty good job of keeping up with our group of mostly 30-somethings. 😂
I was nervous about the bridges, but they felt very sturdy and being able to hang on to the side rails helped, too.

I truly enjoyed the leisurly walk through Mistico Hanging Briges Park. My guide, Johnny, was so knowledgeable about all of the flora and fauna in the park. And he had such a sharp eye - I have no idea how he spotted some of the smallest creatures, but he did and took the time to set up his telescope so that our group could see. He even helped us get footage on our phines through the telescope. I'd recommend Jungle Tours to anyone wanting an easy walk through a beautiful place with a lot to see.

We visited this place as well as the volcano, thermal springs, waterfalls, and wildlife refuges. Overall this place was the #1 of all of them. It would be the top of my list if I was to visit the area again. We went in the morning and did self guided tour. We saw plenty of monkeys, birds, snakes, frogs, etc. The people with tour guides probably had a better experience but honestly there are enough tour guides around the area you can get a feel for what they are showing everyone. The only disappointing thing we missed is they have scopes they use to show you all the wildlife and forest. Brining binoculars is a must!!! Takes about 2 hours to get through and can be little tiring if not in shape. The bridges are really fun if you are not afraid of heights.

We had an amazing trip with our guide Nefryn - saw lots of great animals and walking through the bridges was super fun. Pick up and drop off also all very smooth.

Nei was our tour guide and he was phenomenal. Extremely hospitable, enthusiastic, and kind. It was a wonderful hike with our group and the trial was beautiful. Nei was very quick to find many types of wildlife throughout our tour and was kind enough to share them all with the group, once the tour was concluded. He was very informative. I would highly recommend this tour and thank you Nei for a wonderful experience.

Marvin and Neyfrin were amazing on our tour today throughout the Mistico hanging bridges. The wildlife we saw was great and they were both extremely knowledgeable and receptive to our questions. Joey also took us to the Arenal Volcano beforehand and was equally attentive and enthusiastic. I would 100% recommend, it was toooo good.

The guides were young and so friendly! We can see that they love what they do. We saw heaps of wildlife and they made sure we could take great pictures

We really enjoyed this tour and so glad we opted to have a guide. Isaac was very knowledgeable and had a trained eye for seeing and pointing out animals we would otherwise miss. He brought his camera and binoculars for us to see the creatures high in the trees. The hanging bridges were a little challenging for me as I have a height fear. However, it helped to have rails on both sides and keep my eyes looking ahead. The rainforest was beautiful. The trees were very tall. We saw 2 white faced monkeys, viper snakes and other animals. Afterwards the tour bus took us to a hot springs where we enjoyed soaking in the warm relaxing water. I would highly recommend this tour.

I did three tours with Arenal Jungle Tours (Volcano Hike, Hanging Bridges and Rio Celeste) and was very pleased with the service. I booked via Bike Arenal and communication went via them, but the tours were managed by Arenal Jungle Tours. Pick-up always on time, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides and what I particularly liked was that they avoid big groups. For the hanging bridges there were more than 10 people, and they split up the group and sent two guides. More expensive for them, but better service for the participants.
