Utterly delightful experience. Highly recommend. Melissa was very knowledgeable, energetic and pleasing guide. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Montreal and wants a unique and interesting tour slightly off the beaten path.

I enjoyed tasting various teas and learning about the history of tea, and how it is made. Also learned about Montreal and saw some of the city

We had a fantastic time on this tour. It was appropriate both for those who knew a lot about tea already and those who didn't. She was accommodating to my mom's special needs (mobility impaired). I thought I knew about Japanese tea, but have never experienced anything like the tea service we went to. Highly recommended.

If I could, I'll give more than 5 stars! This tour was a gift for my best friend's Birthday and it was absolutely outstanding and way beyond anything I had expected! Melissa is an amazing guide and helped us discover many new locations which we would for sure enjoy many more times in the future. All the places we have visited were extraordinary and we really enjoyed learning about the story behind each location (even met with the owners). Melissa also taught us about Montreal's history in-between the locations we were visiting and the whole tour felt like a little adventure as we walked through areas we've never been before (we are from Montreal too). The communication was super fast and the customer service was extremely good. We now plan on experiencing all of the remaining tours as Melissa's company was highly enjoyable and we can't wait to learn more about our city. Thank you!

This is my second tour with Melissa of Round Table Tours and I hope to go on many more! She is an outstanding guide, with a great ability to create an engaging srory about a particular food and draw us in to the narrative. Her tea tour is amazing. My family group ranged from my young adult nephew and his girlfriend to my 85 year old mother with dementia and every one of us had a fabulous time. Melissa went out of her way to get answers to questions and make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. I will absolutely be booking another tour with Melissa the next time I'm in Montreal.

We had an absolutely wonderful time learning and trying different teas and treats in the area. This was the most enriching experience we have had on a trip and we were so blessed to have Melissa leading the way. We were joined by one other couple which worked out quite nicely for all the stops we made to keep it an intimate and knowledge-filled tour. Every stop was just wonderful. Walking and seeing the sites coupled with the amazing tea and treats could not be beat. We came home from our trip to Montreal with a new appreciation for Montreal, tea, and the whole entire world. If you are on the fence, do it. This tour is not to be missed.

Enjoyed a nice ramble through Montreal, with stops and five tea salons, including one school. I thought wine was complicated until I learned about tea! Ended the day with a beautiful tea and sandwich. Loved hearing all the little histories of Montreal. Our guide was charming and enthusiastic. A total delight!

My daughter and I participated in the afternoon tea tour and we both loved it. We love tea to begin with and the tea tour gave us an opportunity to try different and specially curated teas. We learned a lot and we bought several teas to enjoy at home. Our group was great and the afternoon flew by. Thanks, Melissa, for a great time.

We had an amazing and unbeatable experience with Melissa during our tea tour. This tour is outstanding for people who like tea, are interested in different kinds of tea, or even just want to drink a bunch of yummy tea (and eat delicious food!) at cool spots around Montreal! Right away, Melissa made us feel welcome with her thoughtful gift of a tote bag and water bottle! Melissa is a friendly and super knowledgeable tour guide who curated an amazing day of visiting 5 different tea houses/shops that showed a variety of styles of tea. Melissa is clearly an industry professional, as at each spot we had a curated experience waiting for us where we sampled a variety of teas and food, getting served and guided by the owner themselves or from knowledgeable staff. This is definitely not an experience you can recreate on your own. I loved how each spot was unique and showcased a different style of tea. We started at a tea school with a workshop about tea and its history. We learned about the different types of tea, regions, and how to brew tea in the traditional way. We were able to ask questions, drink a variety of teas, and brew our own! It was truly unique and interesting! We made our way to other tea houses/shops each very different and trying a variety of teas from Chinese teas, English chai tea, Russian tea, Japanese tea (the Japanese tea house was a special experience filled with a variety of teas and delicious food!) and ending with a full traditional high tea service complete with sandwiches, scones, desserts, and of course lots of amazing tea! For the price, it was actually an incredible value! We spent a whole afternoon trying more tea and more food with Melissa’s knowledge and the expertise of various industry professionals. Not only are you getting the experience, but you are also getting all the tea you can drink, plus you will definitely leave full! I would like to take a moment to respectfully disagree with a few of the previous reviews. First of all, I would like to point out that while yes, there is a fair bit of walking, if you are physically able to walk comfortably, it’s an enjoyable experience! I actually loved the exercise in between eating sweets and yummy treats! The walking is spaced out between 5 different places, and while you are walking, Melissa is acting as a tour guide, pointing out and explaining landmarks, important buildings, architecture, talking about the neighborhoods and we walked through beautiful neighborhoods that are off the beaten path that I know I would not have been able to find our learn about had I not been on the tour. Second, from the 4th to the 5th stop, you take a cab, as Melissa takes her feedback seriously to improve her customers’ experiences. Another criticism that I am honestly confused about is the length of the tour. At $155 per person I was more than happy to get the most of my experience! There is no “wasted” time on this tour and each place you go to is unique, interesting, and delicious. Our tour was from 2pm-7pm and we actually wished that we could stay a little longer at most of the places! Time flew and I could not believe that it was 7 pm by the end of our tour! Thank you so much Melissa for an unforgettable experience, we can’t wait to do another tour!
