The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name.
Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.

I had an incredible experience exploring Montserrat Mountain with our guide, Teo. His deep knowledge and passion for the area were evident from the start.
We began our hike early in the morning, and Teo led us through lesser-known trails, sharing fascinating insights about the geology and history of Montserrat. One highlight was visiting the Sant Miquel Crosss, offering breathtaking panoramic views from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean.
Teo ensured a comfortable pace for everyone and enriched the journey with his stories.
He made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The convenience and pleasure of having private transport in an upscale Mercedes van with a pleasant and informative tour guide made the trip more enjoyable Monserrat was stunning and we arrived early enough (9:30) to avoid the crowds. Matt asked what we were most interested in and advised how to best spend our time and helped us negotiate the funicular for our hike to the cave of the Black Modanna. The 20 minute hike was up and down but well worth the effort to see her in this minimalist setting. In addition Matt gave us links to restaurants that we look forward to trying. The communication before and after our tour has been perfect
Our only disappointment was that the boys choir was on tour, so we couldn’t hear them. But since they don’t sing until the 1 pm Mass, and our tour left at 12:30, it didn’t make a difference
