Enjoy a guided tour in Montserrat and visit all the highlights of the monastery by the hand of your local tour guide. You will then enjoy some free time to a palate some traditional foods made by Montserrat monks or farmers, as well as soaking in this special place where nature, culture and spirituality meet. Meet your tour guide again to get on board for the second part of the tour. Oller del Mas cellar awaits!

Oller del Mas is not a common winery – its superb ecological wines have earned plenty of awards in the recent years. In fact, one of its wines won the “Best Wine in Catalonia” award in 2018. But the cellar is not only special for its wines. You will take a stroll by the vineyards, learn how the wine is made, and discover all of its secrets. *We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.

Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved.
Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly. We advise bringing water, especially in the summer season.

The tour was great and Yerai was an especially wonderful tour guide and bartender :). He had lots of great information about Montserrat, the region, and the wine we tasted. Montserrat was beautiful and the vineyard was lovely as well. If I could improve one thing about the tour it would be the tapas. They were just okay, and considering the quality of the wine and vineyard, it stood out. Otherwise, we had a really great day.

We enjoyed this tour immensely. The Monastery set in the stunning Montserrat mountains is spectacular and the tapas and wine tasting on the way back to Barcelona capped off a wonderful day. Our guide, Luca, was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Is it possible to add more stars? This tour was beyond expectations. Lesly was exceptional and well informed with Montserrat and her wine knowledge for the tasting. She made this tour outstanding. Please, please, ask for her as she definitely makes this trip worth every cent you pay!

This is such an amazing tour! You travel by both bus and cog train. The Montserrat area on top of one of several mountains has breathtaking views. We went on a Sunday and were able to join a live Mass which was a very moving experience. After time in that area, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch, wine tasting and time to enjoy in the outdoor tables before heading back to Barcelona. Lorena was our guide, she was very knowledgeable and fun to have lead the group.

Zhara was INCREDIBLE. This tour was well planned and organized. I was anxious booking online but the professionalism of the whole group was incredible. Amazing history lessons and fun facts and informative tour. The wine tasting was probably the best wine tasting experience I’ve had! Free time to hike a bit and try the cheese market. This was probably one of the best tours I’ve been on and Zhara was one of the best guides I’ve had in my multiple trips throughout Europe so far!

Ivan was a great guide for us. Awesome way to see Montserrat and the monastery. We also got to drink plenty of wine and the lunch was delicious and very accommodating of dietary allergies. Would strongly recommend bringing an umbrella / raincoat as the weather is a bit unpredictable, although there are shops to buy one there.

Our tour started at 9:45am with an introduction from guide Luca, he was interesting and well informed about the destinations and , with his fellow guides, entertained us throughout the tour. We bussed to Monserrat where we took a cog railroad with fantastic views up to the monastery and church at the peak.
Luca gave us time to shop, eat ( there were plenty of choices for each), and take the funicular or hike to the cross if we wished.
Our winery stop with tasting and tapas was wonderful, wished we could bring back a few bottles ( but we did capture the link to order online).
The commentary on the inspiring scenery and history was informative and inspiring.
We took several tours /port adventures on our cruise before our Barcelona stay. The tour by Luca and team was the best of our trip. I would definitely recommend it!

Tour guide did a wonderful job of explaining everything. Lunch was excellent as well as the wine tasting. Would recommend this tour. Very enjoyable. Would do it again.

Beautiful day in the country! Checkin at the bus station was very easy and the guides were wonderful. Berta was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about Montserrat. We loved the drive to Montserrat Monastery and Zara (another guide) was funny and informative. Our visit and time at Montserrat was perfect. Enough time to see everything we wanted to see. The winery portion of the day was definitely lacking. Berta was great and knowledgeable about the wines, but the lunch portion was small and the 2 “ glasses” of wine at lunch were tasting pours, not actual glasses of wine.
Overall a good day!
