The cooking class will take place at Chef Khmisa's place, in a traditional Moroccan house in the heart of the medina located near the central square of Jemaa el fna.
At the arrival, you will be welcomed with a traditional mint tea and you will learn how to make it
The menu will be composed of the most typical Moroccan dishes
Moroccan starters + main course + desert
It's possible to request what you wanna cook
We will go to the food Local market after we meet, A short walk through the souk to buy the fresh groceries in the middle the market stalls filled with spices and local traditions.
Once back home, we will start the preparation of the dishes with Chef Khmisa and the help as well of Kawtar who will assist you in better understanding the secrets of the Moroccan cuisine. It's a shared experience . You can come individually or with a group.
The cooking class will take place couple days per week and can welcome individual participants or groups

This was a really fun and authentic experience, buying ingredients in the market and cooking up a super meal in Chef Khmisa’s aunt’s beautiful kitchen. We were all kept very busy as a group and had a lot of fun together. Chef Khmisa and her aunt were super hosts and teachers! Would highly recommend this experience. Thank you!

The fact that I walked around in circles for nearly an hour in 30degree heat trying to find any sign of anyone meeting for this course and found NOTHING . Nobody I asked knew anything about it.. No contact number provided

It was a nice experience overall and I enjoyed learning how to prepare the meals. We each got to participate and everything was delicious. We have yet to receive the recipes though and I hope we will get those soon.

An excellent introduction to traditional Moroccan cuisine. My wife and I participated in the course and had a wonderful time. Following a brief guided tour through a small food market to pick up some vegetables, Chef Khimsa welcomed us into her home and took the time to explain everything we were doing step by step. I would highly recommend this course for both beginners and experienced chefs alike. We made 4 starters and 2 tajine dishes (one vegetarian and one with chicken) and got to enjoy the meal with the other course participants once we'd finished cooking. We asked many questions, all of which were answered in detail. Highly recommend for anyone looking to do something a little different in Marrakech.

This cooking experience was so lovely! ❤️My group felt really at home, and we learnt a lot about Moroccan cooking. I liked the fact that our hosts were intentional about making sure EVERYONE had a go at something (even if it was adding spices). A great experience for all ages, and the food was very tasty. Really appreciate Kawtar & Khimsa sending the recipes to us too ☺️ (also, thanks for helping us when we got lost too! Haha)
