This was one of the best tours we have ever taken. Tony was an amazing guide. He shared his passion for the volcano and was very informative. He drove very carefully and was quite entertaining. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for an exciting experience outside of Taormina.

Roberto!!!!!!! Truly amazing his knowledge and passion had has us hooked from the beginning to the end. We are 3 sisters on a very special holiday and Roberto made it even more special. We could not recommend this trip more highly and if all the guides are as knowledgeable and lovely as Roberto you are in for a treat.

Our guide, Roberto, made our trip so interesting. His knowledge about Mt Etna and is geographic and natural sciences was superb. Every step our the way he had facts and figures for us. The trip itself was beautiful through woodland walks, up to some of the craters on the crunchy black ash and exploring lava bombs and a lava tube.
We stopped for a lovely lunch at a chalet and tasted local wines. The whole experience was lovely… except the weather which was out of anyones control.
It would have been nice to have a longer walk but the clouds came down and we couldn't see enough to go on.
A huge thank you to Roberto for a wonderful day.

Tony was our guide for the half day Mt Etna tour and he was fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable and so pleasant. Would highly recommend Etna People for this experience.

Antonio (Tony) was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and patient with our group! It was super windy and he put us all at ease as we traveled around the volcanic craters.

Our guide Roberto was very knowledgeable. He was so welcoming and shared interesting stories regarding not just Etna but the whole of Sicily (as we asked him). It involves a lot of trekking.

The most fun! I highly recommend Etna People for Sicily tours. Etna People are very experienced, professional and friendly. They made our trip to Mt. Etna a very special and memorable experience. We were picked up at our hotel by our experienced guide Tony and taken on the most fantastic tour of Mt. Etna. What made it even more special, I was celebrating a birthday and after our delicious lunch at the vineyard, I was presented with a cannoli with a candle on it! Thank you Tony for being so thoughtful and thank you Valeria for helping me book the tour. You really go the extra step in paying attention to details making sure everything is done perfectly from picking up at the hotel to providing jackets and hiking boots if needed. Etna People are the best!

What a wonderful experience. Walking the craters and lava tubes was a thrill. The guide was excellent and insightful. A fair amount of uphill walking. We took advantage of using their hiking shoes and extra jackets.

Our guide Ezio picked us up on time at the meeting point. We collected another 6 senior travellers in a comfortable van and drove to Etna with a stop at a winery along the way where we were fitted with hiking boots. Safety is an obvious concern. We proceeded up the volcano and did one walking tour of craters, and another of a lava cave. Ezio provided non-stop commentary on the history, geology, nature, and culture of Etna and Sicily. His passion on all things Sicilian was obvious. In addition, he has a great sense of humour. On the return, we stopped again at the winery for wine and a snack, included in the tour. Can highly recommend the company, the tour and Ezio as a tour guide.
