The tour starts with a relaxing cruise to Vitznau on the picturesque Lake Lucerne.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Mt. Rigi, Lucerne 6354 Switzerland
Upon arrival in Vitznau, change to the cogwheel train to reach the top, Rigi Kulm. Enjoy some time at your disposal to explore one of the many hiking trails, take a moment of silence at the Rigi Kulm mountain chapel, or have a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.

Stop At: Rigi Kaltbad, Rigi Kaltbad
Continue to the car-free village of Rigi Kaltbad by cogwheel train and walk around the village square, where you will spot the Mineralbad & Spa designed by the renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta – a true jewel for architecture lovers! Follow an easy hiking trail with a slight incline to the Känzeli viewing platform (2 km, optional) and admire the impressive Alpine ranges from a different perspective.
Duration: 50 minutes
Stop At: Weggis, Weggis
Descend by aerial cable car and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Lucerne. Take a short walk downhill to the boat station of Weggis, once referred to by Mark Twain (1897) as the “most charming place” and capture the breathtaking view from the Lucerne Riviera with your camera.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Lake Lucerne, Lucerne Switzerland
Board the boat back to Lucerne and lean back while reviewing your day in front of an incomparable natural scenery.
Duration: 40 minutes

Excellent choice, worth every penny! Everything was on time. And there was enough time to fully enjoy each stop, and I can’t even pick a favorite spot because the scenery was simply stunning throughout the entire day! Our tour guide Monika was very knowledgeable, professional, and caring.
I 100% recommend it!

Unfortunately weather was bad and it ended up being a trip where we saw nothing! Better to buy tickets shortly before the trip so you can plan accordingly

Great way to experience the mountains from lucerne. The boat ride to and from lucerne , as well as the cogwill up the mountain and cable car back down made it an overall enjoyable day
Monica was very friendly and fyll of knowledge.
You have a total of about 2hrs at the top of the mountain. Which is enough time to take it in

The guide was fantastic and accommodating. The scenery is spectacular. The time on top is not enough for hiking but it helps to go with the tour guide to get an idea and go back if needed

We chose this tour because we wanted to be at the top of a mountain in Switzerland and look out at the Alps. We also liked that it included 3 modes of transport. It was an amazing day. Monica was so knowledgeable about the area and was great at moving us through every step of the day, while also giving us free time to wander. The scenery from the boat, the train and the cable car was unbelievably beautiful.

We were a small group of 7. Our guide Ralph was wonderful and made sure that we were where we needed to be and he provided interesting facts about the area. It was a beautiful and sunny day and the views were fantastic. I like walking and decided to walk from the top of Mt. Rigi to the Lucerne return boat in Weggis. It was a beautiful hike but I don't recommend it since it was difficult going downhill and I only had 10 minutes to spare for the last boat at 6:05pm. I highly recommend going to Mt. Rigi on this partially guided excursion.
