Had a wonderful time with Ly as our tour guide. She was wonderful and very informative. It was a shame we had so much fog by that did not impede the fun had on the hikes

The tour was great, views were stunning and getting to visit the villages of the different ethnic groups was interesting. Our guide Ly was lovely and her English was good. The food at the homestay was delicious. The only downside to the trip was my husband had a snake cross his path and it was in that moment that we realised that the guide had no first aid equipment and there was no pre warning about snakes. Coming from a country where we are well aware of snakes and do lots of hiking we feel that the guides should be more educated when it comes to this and should carry the necessary equipment in case of an emergency, as well as being more informative to the trekkers about the dangers in the bush.

My partner and I had a wonderful time with Zhu on our two day hike through the villages and rice terraces outside of Sa Pa. The food was great at every stop, the home stay was comfortable with great WiFi and Zhu was very knowledgeable and able to provide great insights about the local culture. It was great to travel with a locallly owned company that out the profits back into the local communities, and avoided the tourist trap of Cat Cat. Being a private tour, the guide was also able to tailor the speed and length of the trip to the abilities our our party. Thoroughly remcommended!

We did the 2 days 1 night mountain view and rice fields trekking tour through the valley and we had a really great time! Our tour guide Ly was lovely and she made our experience to be even better. She spoke very good english and with her we could learn a lot about the Black Hmong culture and way of life, including even some sentences in Black Hmong language. Along the way Ly was always telling us about the different plants and trees we would find and explain what they are used for, among other very interesting facts. We stayed the night in a very nice homestay where we could enjoy a local dinner with our tour guide and other tour group. Ly taught us how to make spring rolls for dinner and we had an amazing dinner with them, where we could also try some happy water. It was the highlight of the tour for us! The trekking itself was a bit challenging in some parts but very manageable. We liked a lot going through the bamboo forest and alongside the river. It is worth for the views and for the overall experience. Would definitely recommend it and do it again!

The trek was fun! We started our decent into the valley at 930am. Our guide was Zhu and was very knowledgeable. Good conditions the first day and our entire journey was about 12km. We stopped for lunch half way. We reached our destination by 4pm. The home stay was cozy and clean, again great food and good company from other backpackers. The next day was heavy heavy rain so we took an easier option on our way home. Still beautiful landscapes just unfortunate weather and too dangerous to complete the original plans. Zhu still took us on a nice journey the second day and overall really enjoyed the trip!

What an incredible experience. Our guide Zhu was amazing from start to finish, she ensured we were safe and showed us so many beautiful sights. Our homestay was spectacular, it overlooked rice fields and the food was just delicious! I would highly recommend this tour, they are professional and a legitimate company who provide support to the local ethnic minorities.

Say was a very friendly and open person, very helpful during the two days. She explained everything about the rice fields and the area and told us about the minorities living in the area and their habits.
