Itinerary

Find your moment of zen on a mountaintop. Unplug & unwind in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains! Quick facts: 2 mile hike + 1 hour of yoga + panoramic vistas.

Itinerary: Meet your guide at the trail head, just 30 minutes from downtown Asheville, where we'll hand out mats and carrying straps. Next, enjoy a 1 mile hike through the forest, stopping along the way as your guide shares stories of this area's history and information about its lovely, diverse ecosystem. At the summit, stretch out your mat, soak up the views, and unwind as you move through an hour-long yoga class, appropriate for all levels. After practice (and plenty of time for photos!), your guide will lead you another mile along the trail, looping back to the parking area for a total of 2 miles round trip.

Hikes are offered year round. We'll bring the mats; you bring your spirit of adventure!

I booked a private yoga/hike session for a bachelorette activity with myself and my 4 bridesmaids, and I have nothing but positive things to say about it!!! Our guide, Lauren, was friendly, knowledgeable, and so kind, and made sure we were all comfortable throughout the experience. She pointed out history, plant life, and lots of interesting facts during the hike, which I loved. For the yoga session, we went with a slow flow and it was great for our beginner/intermediate group. It was amazing to really be present in that moment and slow down to appreciate everything. To top it all off Lauren also brought some iced hibiscus tea which we enjoyed after our session. We all had so much fun with this experience and if you enjoy the outdoors & being mindful then I would highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much Lauren and next time I come back to Asheville I’m definitely going to see what else Asheville Wellness Tours has to offer. :)

Although it was chilly in March, we had a great hike and yoga class with Lauren. The views were beautiful and the yoga class was challenging yet relaxing. I highly recommend!

We loved our time with Katie. The hike is one mile and very doable for anyone who is reasonably fit. We hiked on a perfect weather day; blue skies, trees in full color and no cows at the top. The yoga was just what we had hoped, not too difficult and really geared to our level. It was our favorite activity of the week.

This was such an amazing experience and will remember it for a very long time. I can’t say enough about our wonderful guide Crista…she was funny, positive, patient, open to questions and could tell that she genuinely loved what she did. She put us at ease right from the start and took the time along our hike to point out different plants, trees, rocks, landmarks, etc. The hike up Bearwallow mountain was so beautiful and the views from the top were impressive. Crista tailored the yoga session based on our suggestions/needs and her knowledge and passion for yoga was evident. I felt completely reinvigorated afterwards and will absolutely do this again if I get back to the Asheville area. Crista is a gem and can’t thank her enough!

This was a great experience, I highly recommend it especially for groups. It was the perfect thing to include in our bachelorette party weekend, it rejuvenated our bodies and minds and brought our group of girls even closer together. We loved the views from the top and it was fun having the cows grazing with us at the top of the mountain. No prior hiking or yoga experience needed at all, it was not strenuous whatsoever. As long as you are physically fit enough to walk uphill for an hour you'll be fine. Our instructor Crista was awesome and really made the experience so special for us.

Carrie Lee was a wonderful lead. The whole experience was great. Highly recommend and would do it again! Didn’t want to come down the mountain after yoga.

We actually hiked on our own then came back to the bnb and did yoga by the pool. It was such a great experience. She tailored it to our group which consisted of beginners and intermediate. The day was very cool that morning but awesome by noon and we so enjoyed our time. I was able to do lizard for the first time in a long while. We would definitely recommend giving them a try!
