Mt. Etna: cablecar's Official ticketing (south side)

Ticket / QR code would not appear or work after purchase at hotel or ticket counter. Had to rebook on the spot for the experience. Viator would not issue any type of refund. Experience on site was wonderful. Just would recommend booking directly through Funivia dell'Etna.

This is more of an FYI about the times shown as available because it is a bit misleading. I was really excited about doing this activity but contacted the operator to ensure we would be able to since we wouldn't arrive in Catania until 1pm. I had booked it because it was an open ticket and opening hours are 8:30-4. I was told we would have to be there by 2 and that the commute from the airport to Mt. Etna was approximately an hour, so we likely wouldn't be able to do the tour that day. Unfortunately, that's our only day in Catania, so I canceled. Bummed.

Great experience & what a thrill! Fun winding drive up to base, then gondola up, & then heavy duty bus ride up even further! (Glad we did the bus, as hiking would've taken awhile...) Exciting 40 minute hike last of the way to a crater rim! Awesome info & help from our guide Marco. Tix about $260 overall for 3 of us, & worth every penny.

Our EtnaTribe tour experience was wonderful! Our guide Daria was super friendly and very informative, she is also concerned about how we felt we were driving on a road uphill, also i was having a hard time going down the craters of Mt. Etna and she waited and assisted me going down, Overall we felt well guided and cared for. You should hire more staff like her!

Every aspect of the tour was amazing. Picked from our hotel in Catania in a very comfortalbe Van with 4 other tourists. We were driven to Mount Etna by our guide 'Daria' who walked us from the last station to 2000m altitude. We had also some time to walk around Silvestri crater. We also visited Taormina where we had two hours to tour this beautiful city. On the way to Taormina we stopped at Miele Di Sicilea, for tasting of honey and wine. We have also visited a nice cave on the way. Daria was superb as a host and guide. Her knowledge and narrative of the history of Sicily, Mount Etna and every city we passed through was very enriching and entertaining. Great tour organizing company but the best was the human touch of our guide. Thanks.

Fléchage mauvais , cher même si le site justifie la dépense , informations pratiques delivrees au compte goutte et de mauvaise grâce par le personnel .

Superbe expérience, mais dommage de n'avoir pas eu un guide francophone comme annoncé ! Coupe fil ok si on est bien renseigné sur place Télésiège super bus 4x4 génial
