Masa was our tour guide and she was very informative. My family and I had a fun time going to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. The weather was raining and cloudy the whole time :/ but that is not anyone’s fault. The buffet was super delicious! The shrines were amazing. Still a very nice trip.

The trip was on time and organised to start with but quick went wring due to poor weather . As a result lunch became mid morning and we effectively sat on a coach for the day. There appears to be no structured back up plan for bad weather. There were ample opportunities to extend times at other stops or to create alternative options which the operator failed to consider. Lunch eve though it was at 10:30 was cold chicken and cold potatoes. Consider the weather carefully before booking

We were really longing for this activity because of the many worth seeing spots summarized in one day. Masa, our guide, could save a day with her optimism and her skilled professionalism. She definitely knew the business and added a personal and fresh touch. The weather was the worst you can expect in such an activity: intense rain and fog, together with a landslide that prevented us to go to the highest spot, so most of the sightseeing was not visible. You cannot blame it to the activity itself, but we think the activity was not well adapted to this possibility. The alternatives were nothing special (of course, in the context of the wonderful nature and beauty of Japan) in our opinion.

Although Mount Fuji was closed and that the weather was unfortunately not on our side, as the heavy fog was limiting the view, Yuta made the experience interesting and entertaining by sharing fun stories and historical facts about the places we visited.

Yuta was our guide and he was a very patient and helpful young man. He made an effort to speak to every person individually and helped me a great deal with my questions regarding how to use the local train system.
