Stop At: Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Narusawa-mura, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0320 Yamanashi Prefecture
Mt. Fuji 5th Station is situated 2300 m above sea level & you see the Mt fuji close view if the weather is good not rainy & lots of souvenir shop enjoy shopping.
This is best spot for climbers to go top of Mt fuji. Mt Fuji The climbing season start from early 14 July to September 10.
During hiking Season we cannot go to 5th station. You have to take shuttle bus cost 2100¥ person.

Stop At: Lake Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun 401-0300 Yamanashi Prefecture
Lake Kawaguchiko is beautiful lake it is The gateway to the Fuji Five Lakes area, you can do Ship cruise or rope way cable car that goes up to kachi kachi mountain. You can see very close clear view of Mt fuji from this place if weather is good
For ship cruise & rope way cable car entry fees you have to pay separately.

Stop At: Ensoleille Excursion Ship Pleasure Boat Kawaguchiko, 4034 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0301, Japan
You can do 2 experience one ship cruise & 2nd Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway cable car up to Kachi kachi mountain you can see close view of Mt Fuji from there
cruise boats you can do at beautiful lake kawaguchiko it 20 minutes ride of big ship cruise that brings you near close to Mt fuji & you can see verY clear view of Mt fuji at beautiful lake kawaguchiko if weather is clear no clouds or rain.
Ship cruise has an extra fees that customers need to pay or you can take pictures and go next spot
Rope at cable car goes up to kachi kachi mountain & you can see Mt fuji close view if weather is not rainy or cloudy

Oshino Hakkai, or the Eight Seas of Oshino, are a set of eight ponds located in the Fuji Five Lakes area, on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several centuries ago. The eight ponds are fed by snowmelt from the slopes of Mount Fuji that filters down the mountain through porous layers of volcanic rock over a period of several decades. This makes the mineral-rich pond waters remarkably clear and pristine.

Stop At: Owakudani Kurotamago Kan, 1251 Sengokuhara, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0631 Kanagawa Prefecture
Owakudani is one of the most popular places to visit in Hakone. Owakudani is the steaming thermal volcanic vents located in the center of the mountains.

Stop At: Lake Ashinoko, Hakone, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun 250-0521 Kanagawa Prefecture
You can see Beautiful Lake Ashi & The HAKONE shrine is now well known for the large red torii gate located along the shore of Lake Ashi. This shrine gate is known as the “Gate of Peace” (heiwa no torii). The Torii Gate on the lake was erected in 1952 to commemorate the crown prince's reign and Japan's independence (conclusion of the peace treaty). You can do pirates ship or ropeway cable car but the entry fees you have to pay separately.

Our day with Ali on the Mt. Fuji tour was spectacular. We were lucky to have a clear day. The multiple views were extraordinary, and Ali was helpful, knowledgeable, flexible and a great driver. The tour was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Rana was great! He picked us up on time, and we gave him our customized itinerary which he was happy to do, and even gave a suggestion that wasn’t on our list that was beautiful. But all the while, he was very realistic about times to make sure we were on schedule.
He even helped us non-Japanese speakers call a place to move our reservation because one of the stops was so gorgeous we wanted to spend more time there.
Also, he was a safe driver and let us play our music in the car!
We really enjoyed our day in the Mt. Fuji area because of how flexible, relaxed, and safe we felt with Rana.

This was supposed to be a full day GUIDED tour. This was just a taxi experience. The van picked us up and
Dropped us off at each location. The driver laughed at my family and I as we brought back gifts and food to the van, and then REQUESTED we purchase no more as there wasn’t room left in the trunk. 3rd party vendor was no help and Viator was no help in proving a refund for this horrible experience. I suggest not to book with this vendor.

Hakone is quite a distance from Tokyo so a private tour was very attractive to us. We were able to skip all the touristy stuff like the cable car and lake cruise. This gave us more time to focus on things that interested us such as the volcanic area. The weather was not good but we were still able to get quite a bit done. our driver was more driver than guide but that was fine. It was great to have a very comfortable vehicle close by. He also went out of his way to climb up and find a trout fishing location for us. It turned out to be really pretty and off the beaten track. We really appreciated that effort.

I paid $600+ for the private tour. The driver did not give us any information on the things we saw. He did not even know about the stops that the tour included. He tried shortcuts. It was 3 pm and he said we won’t make it to Hakone and that the lake park will be closed. Out of 8 stops, we made only 4. We did not get to see Hakone. We did not even stay long in stops but he was reluctant to go to other places stating it will be too late. I would not recommend paying this much for this. The trip was nice but disappointed with not seeing everything that was listed. I would recommend bus tour. I even tipped him $20 as a custom in US. I would like to get some discount on this trip.

The view of Mount Fuji was breathtaking!
The driver Ali, was very pleasant and flexible; tailored the excursion to best fit our needs with two young children. Fully recommend the tour and driver.

Jamil was a great tour guide and driver! He was very attentive and had great knowledge about the location, best things to do, and good food to try. He was on time to pick us up and scheduled our day so that we got to see everything we wanted to. Overall a very friendly person and hopefully you get a chance to have him as your driver too.

This was a first experience with viator and frankly I will think twice before booking a tour again. I booked the tour because of my parents mobility problems and we were 6 together with our 2 teens.
The driver was on time and was speaking well English but not really Japanese which was problematic when speaking with natives.
The guide is more a driver than a tourist guide and was unfriendly and even rude at some points. He clearly didn’t want to be there and explained before leaving that it was impossible to do the 8 visits proposed by viator at the internet site and I had to choose 2 or 3 before leaving, insisting that I will have to pay him for every additional hour. I convinced him to start the excursion and we will see on the way. The only time he interacted with us it was to sell us a trip for next day to Nikko or Tokyo. He was insisting for half an hour and pushing us to decide quickly because if we didn’t he had to declare a day off.
We visited the Mt Fuji 5th station, the Lake Kawaguchiko where he interacted with us again in order to purchase a fast boat tour with a friend of his, the Oichi park. When we told him we would like to see the Fuji-sengen temple and the last step which was the lake Ashinoko he started saying again that it is not possible and that he has to be paid for every extra hour. Finally he accepted to do these 2 stops instead of the 5 stops left in the tour.
At the end as we were in advance with the coming back schedule he asked us whether we needed a break at a gas station. We said no but he stopped anyway and we were waiting for him about 30 minutes at the parking slot in order for him to go to the toilet and have coffee.
Last point my parents had some difficulty to enter the van, the driver didn’t move a finger he was just watching us trying to help my mother to get in and out.
Overall the tour can be personalised but better get a taxi. Even though the places were beautiful communication with driver was unfriendly and stressful.

My personnel tour guy FIZE is the best . He is very friendly & taking us from short cut, so that we cover all the places around mount Fuji & lake Kawaguchiko
He takes a lot of beautiful pictures for us, like a professional photographer.
He recommends the best restaurant & send us the most fun boat ride.
I have the best time. I highly recommend if you want to have fun & memorable time must search for FIZE.
