Start your trip at Kriens valley station and enjoy the 30 minutes ride with the panorama-gondola from Kriens to Fräkmüntegg, where in winter, there are sledging routes and snowshoe trails from Fräkmüntegg down to Krienseregg; the rental station is at the valley station in Kriens.
At Fräkmüntegg you will change to the aerial cableway "Dragon Ride" and reach the summit Pilatus Kulm at 2132 meters above sea level in 5 minutes. At the top of Lucerne's landmark mountain, you can enjoy the great panoramic view or discover the Dragon World with its interactive games about Pilatus' dragon legends.
At Krienseregg, Fräkmüntegg, and Pilatus Kulm you can try some local specialties in one of the restaurants before heading back to Kriens by cable car.

Fantastische ervaring! Wij hadden de kabelbaan naar de top geboekt (65 euro pp). Zicht was erg goed en heel veel faciliteiten op elk niveau (3 inclusief de top). Op de top kan het koud zijn, hou hier rekening mee. Er is tevens een webcam beschikbaar op de website om het zicht vooraf te bekijken om teleurstelling te voorkomen. Echt een aanrader!

Det var verkligen en fantastisk upplevelse. Otroliga viuer och utsikter, sol och snö. Resan med linbanan.
Passade på och åkte sommarrodel oxå.
Det enda minus var otroligt långa köer och väldigt opedagogiskt upplagd hemsida.
Kugghjulbanan var stängd.
Om ni åker från centrala luzern ta trådbuss 1 till kriens. Hållplatsen Pilatus zentrum. Sexan är det bara att följa pilarna i 3 minuter
