The trip to Mt. Wellington was amazing with spectacular views and many trails getting you into nature. The trip to Richmond needs no more than an hour unless you enjoy going in and out of small shops. The bridge and Catholic Church is worth a view. The shuttle company can drop you off at a nearby winery after an hour in Richmond if you enjoy wine tasting and then pick you back up at the winery on there return trip to Hobart.

I did not realize that this tour was two hop on, hop off bus rides. I kept trying to contact the tour operator and never got any response. However, the tour up to Mt. Wellington was quite good. Tony, the bus driver and guide, was interesting and entertaining. The views from the top were amazing. He also found (and took pictures for us ) a black tiger snake and well as an echidna on the side of the road. In the afternoon, the bus was much smaller an uncomfortable. We went to the town of Richmond,, but we did not need 2.5 hours to cover it. The driver took the 2 of us to a cheese store a little ways away. He offered it to everyone, but we were the only ones to take him up on it. Even with that we still sat in the bus for 45 minutes.

Our experience with the this shuttle tour fell short. Missed the second tour to Richmond due to a communication lapse about changing buses. The Mt. Wellington tour though was great, but the lack of clarity affected the overall experience negatively. Better communication needed for a smoother tour next time.

It was a heavily misted morning with a decent breeze blowing on top of Mt Wellington. I have limited mobility and frequently need a small fold up wheelchair, so I did walk staying close to the bus (kept the chair dry from the mist). The morning Driver on Sat 25th Was So Helpful. You Don't need clear skies, as nice as that would have been. What I saw blew my mind - the changing trees and growth as we drove higher, and at the top? It was just incredible! All the rocks, lichen, puddles, plants and grasses with their colours being constantly changed by the mist will stay with me forever. The Richmond Village Shuttle was the achievement of a personal dream. The Bridge Anniversary is happening as I type this. To have seen it in all it's natural beauty, the Churches and boutique shops left me nothing to be desired, albeit happily staying on board, warm and dry. The wheelchair use was made easy with a neat lift. With clearing weather and Awesome Driver Guide Jason, I chose to go to Wicked Cheese. I left there with a goody bag of goat and dairy free cheeses and some Prickly Box honey plus one of their yummy cheese and salad platters, the latter which I enjoyed that evening. A wonderful day, meeting happy incredible people from all-over with one intent = enjoying a day with very knowledgeable, understanding and caring drivers. The memories of this day on these 2 Shuttles I will relive and always enjoy daily in so many ways and not least, all the photos I managed to take and some very special ones taken for me by Jason. Thank You Jason especially for helping me achieve my Tasmanian dream and hold it close, In Spades, Forever

Tour guide who was also the driver was very nice, friendly and always provided informative details and stories. Pick-up location is easy to find, yet the time for Richmond village tour was misleading. It was showing as 13:00 in the app but the actual time was actually 13:30, we waited for half an hour for the shuttle coming. I also wish the time allowed in Richmond could be a bit longer.
