Overall, a very good time with a good group! This is the tour to go on if you want to enjoy a friendly guide (shoutout to Deniz!), meet fellow travelers (future meetups already planned), learn a bit about the city, and enjoy a lot of food.
At first the price tag was pretty shocking to me at ~$150/person. What that gets you:
- 1 liter starting beer.
- A snack (a small pork sandwich)
- A brief history of the Marianplatz Square and some nearby buildings.
- A massive dinner - 4-5 types of sausages, potato salad, kraut, pretzels, meatballs, etc
- 3 tasting-sized beers (1 dL each, I think) + 1 liter of your favorite of those three
- A fun tour of the beer hall discussing some of the local beer history and how beer is made.
A delicious desserts (The emperor's pancake) + .5L or 1L more of a beer of your choice.
If I had to guess, it would be 50-60 euros worth of food, if you bought it yourself, maybe 25-30 euros worth of beer, a 30-40 euro informational tour, and some priceless interactions with fellow travelers.

This tour was an amazing way to spend a Saturday evening. Deniz was my guide and he was excellent. The depth of his knowledge of the beer and beer culture of Munich is phenomenal. All the food was delicious, and there was plenty of it to be had. Just about any staple of Bavarian cuisine you can think of was included. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

We had a great time eating local food, drinking excellent beer, and learning about both Munich in genral and beer traditions in particular. Our guide, Noel, had much more to say, and if we had not been so full and semi-drunk, I am sure we could have gone on for a couple of hours more. Thank you for a fun experience!
