Back packs are not allowed in the tents due to security reasons

Purses are allowed but only up to a capacity of three litres volume or a size of 20 cm x 15 cm x 10 cm.
DSLR cameras are OK but we don't recommend it, a smart phone camera is more than enough
Ladies: wear comfortable walking shoes or a low wide heal, Munich is a beautiful city with lots of cobble stoned streets.
Getting dressed up in Dirndle and Lederhosen will make it a trip to remember along with all those photos
Book a group multi day train ticket so its easy to get around - MVV Group Ticket 1 or 3 day
Cash, just in-case you want to buy a souvenir or get a cab and such
Make sure that you bring the business card of your hotel with you (you wouldn't believe how many forget where they're staying)
Bring a photo copy of your valid ID but leave the original in your hotel room

This Oktoberfest tour was an amazing experience from start to finish. The traditional Bavarian breakfast (with a beer!) was a perfect way to start the day. The reserved tables in the massive tent were a lifesaver, as it was incredibly crowded. The atmosphere in the tent was electric, with people singing, drinking beer, and the band kept the energy level high. The lunch of chicken was delicious, and the steins of beer were huge!
Our tour guide, Lauren, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about Oktoberfest and German culture. She also had a great sense of humor and made the tour a lot of fun. She went out of her way to introduce people to each other and to help everyone get involved in the festivities.
We met some great people on the tour, and we all had a blast getting to know each other. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone
as its a great way to experience this world-famous festival with a knowledgeable guide and a fun group of people.

This was our first time going to Oktoberfest and we had a wonderful time! Dani and Aiden did a fantastic job explaining and showing us the Bavarian traditions that surround the event. We had a blast in the Hofbrau tent with our group and would recommend this tour to anyone. 100% worth it, especially if you it is your time time going to Oktoberfest and not knowing all the things to do/not do.

Our Oktoberfest tour was so so good! Our tour guide, Christine, was the best. She taught us about the history of Oktoberfest and gave us tips for how to get the most out of our day at the festival. You could tell she cared about us having a great experience.

This booking was the perfect way to experience Oktoberfest for the first time. Our tour guide, Lauren, was fantastic! She took all the stress and worry out of experiencing such a huge event like this, and made it super fun! From the traditional morning breakfast to the reserved table in the Hoffbrau festzelt balcony - she was amazing. She even taught us the ein Prosit song before our time in the tent so we would be fully prepared for the festivities. This is the only way to go to Oktoberfest for the first time!

Crossed off a bucket list item, and we chose the right way to do it. Our tour guide Christine was simply the best. I really enjoyed the fun facts and history points she brought up along the tour. Her personality truly enhanced our Oktoberfest experience. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Overall very good experience!!! Booking was easy, they stayed in contact via email before the trip and were very helpful! The morning of the tour it was a bit confusing meeting as there are many different tour groups. A sign or specific fountain , store, etc would be helpful but it all worked. Tour guide was terrific. Very informative and friendly. My only real criticism is at Oktoberfest we had two tables and squeezed 20 people at them. It was very uncomfortable. Luckily no one was at the other tables next to us and we could spread out. With two tables there was no space to eat or move. I know part of the fun is to be at a long table of friends but this was too close

A great way to experience Oktoberfest and understand a little more about Munich and Bavarian culture. The guides were knowledgeable and provided advice on everything we needed to know on the day and if we were planning to come back again.
