Discover the Murano glass tradition by watching and working with local masters and craftsmen.
Depart from Venice city center with our authorized local guide, and walk for approximately 15 minutes through hidden streets before reaching the Murano island by public transportation (not included).
Visit Colleoni Glass Factory and assist in a private performance of an expert glass master with a demo of blowing and sculpture technique. Then, choose one of the available workshops and make your own object in Murano glass.
Whichever type of activity you choose will permit you to work with a local craftsman and make your personalized item.

Getting to make something out of the glass ( bracelet or mosaic tile) our tour guide was so personable on the way over to the island and he said he would return with us but didn’t the boat stalled and we had to get off and wait for another boat. The driver wasn’t very apologetic.

Oh my goodness! What an absolute of a trip to a factory. We watched as they created an incredible Vase! The craftsmanship is unbelievable. For anyone planning, keep in mind you are in a glass FACTORY where they MAKE these gorgeous items in front of you. You'll have serious temptation to buy something as we did and yes we did! Venetian glass is NOT cheap but damn it's beautiful and worth it and, they ship! Dang it! Lol, such a great tour. Giovanni got us there, was incredibly patient until we finished not just the tour but the workshop where we made murano glass jewelry to keep but also until we finished our shopping! Thank you Giovanni! And there was Fabio! Fabio, Grazie Millie for your attention to our trip. I will never forget you and I will send you the photos we discussed! Grazie Millie for everything you did for us. This tour to this factory is incredible! Go!!!

Was a lot of fun. Boat service was great and got to make jewelry. Wish we saw more of the glass making though.

What a trip! We had a group of 11. All the guides were knowledgeable, helpful and fun! Make sure to get the tour that allows you to make your own Murano glass souvenir. Well worth it!

Watching the talent of the glass artisans was simply amazing, then being able to create my own earrings in the workshop is something I will always remember!
The glass show room was incredible to look at but the prices were very high for my financial options!

This was an amazing tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and pick up location easy to find. We purchase some amazing glass glasses at the gift shop.

Fun workshop making bracelet and watching glass making artists. The showroom was fabulous to see. Highly recommend going on this tour. Giovanni was very personable.

Our guide was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the overall tour was unimpressive. I thought we would be taught more about Venice and the history behind the glass but it was barely touched on. The meeting point was hard to find, we got lost a few times , which also made this day very stressful. When we arrived at the glass factory we saw a quick demo about how they make a vase and horse but that was it. We then were put into a room with the option to do 2 lame projects that had nothing to do with glass blowing... a mosaic (for which you only had one option) or making jewelry. I could have done that anywhere. It felt like one big scam to get you to buy their costly glass. I would not recommend this specific tour.
