This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Pick you up in time from Beijing Capital airport or your hotel by our private tour guide and driver. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall about 1 hour. Then you can stay at there as long as you like. Transfer you back to airport or your hotel after the tour.

Our earliest pick-up time is 6:30am. You will need 1.5-2 hours to be get out of customs after your flight arrives. You shall go back in airport at least 1.5-2 hours before the flight departure.
We do not recommend you book this tour, if you arrival Beijing capital airport after 13:30. Unless your layover time over 24 hours.

But there are still some other issues might happen that might cause you can not obtain the visa-free or can not get out of the airport. I did the Great Wall tour with Herbie during a solo 9-hour layover in Beijing (I was traveling from Toyko to NYC where I live) and I would highly recommend this experience. Herbie met me in the airport holding a sign with my name on it, and he and a driver drove me about 90 minutes to the wall. During the drive, Herbie gave me a super interesting history of China — he really knows his stuff and is such a friendly guide. He spent a few hours with me at the wall, showed me around and told me interesting facts, and took some pictures of me since I was traveling alone. He joined me for most of the tour but also let me have my own moments by myself here and there to explore and take pictures. After the tour, Herbie and the driver got me back to the airport with plenty of time before my flight. This really was an incredible experience and given everything we did, it felt very reasonably priced. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend doing it!

We had a great time with our guide Herbie! If you looking for someone who explains you all the historic details about the great wall you are perfect with this tour. He explained everything perfectly and easy to understand. He also helps with taking pictures from you and the great wall. All In all it was a good tour. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time in our layover to enjoy it more, so we had to hurry up a little but.

They did an amazing job guiding us via email, so everything was easy.
We had a really good time seeing the Great Wall, getting some nice Chinese food and talking with our guide Tony.
Tony was very nice and helpful and he made us feel safe and comfortable.

I’m really happy I found this tour!
I had a great time with Herbie my guide, who was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions (which I had a lot). He accompanied me to a lot of the towers and showed me some good photo spots and interesting architectural facts. Not to mention his friendly personality and excellent english made communication easy and effortless. I could not have asked for a better guide! Mr. Wang, the driver (I hope I spelled his name correctly) was really attentive and a good chauffeur. I felt safe with him behind the wheel. He made me some nice cup of tea after my walk on the wall that was touching and appreciated.

We had a great time! The guide (Herby) and driver (Mr. John) were knowledgeable, professional and most importantly kind and friendly.
A little China history primer before getting to the wall helped with appreciating our destination more and made the trip pass quickly.
Highly recommended!

I had an amazing time visiting the Great Wall. It was also a special day as it was the first day of the Chinese New Year. Herby, my tour guide, picked me up at the airport at 7am sharp and drove me there. The wall was incredible and I only saw probably another 10 people on the day. Herby's English was excellent and he told me a lot about the history of the wall. We spent 2 hours walking and admiring this incredible place. When it was time to go we left to to the airport and got there with plenty of time to cath the next flight. Totally recommend it.

Had a great experience with Beijing Layover Tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall. From the moment I booked the tour they were very accommodating and had great service. My guide Lisa vas an excellent guide, she was very informative and spoke great English. She also got me to the wall before the crowd came, so I had time to take pictures. She even gave me a souvenir in honour of the Chinese new year. Also great driver on the trip, overall a nice experience. Would definitely recommend this tour if you have a layover in Beijing :)
