Sean was an awesome host! We had a blast riding around the city and learning about its history as we rode past. Sean’s personality made this trip for us - of course, we loved riding the bikes - but he really brought it to the next level. The bikes were very cool to ride. It was a steep learning curve, but once you got the hang of it, it all went very smoothly. You should have some level of baseline physical activity to do this as there are hilly areas and a little bit of off-roading that requires some additional physical energy. All in all, not too difficult of a ride despite it being 16.5 miles! Highly, highly recommend this activity! Thank you, Sean!!

As always, covering a lot of territory in a short amount of time. There was something to see for the alcohol enthusiasts, history buff, lovers of architecture and music aficionados. The safety brief was appreciated. The bikes performed well .

I'm writing this review with the hope that Nashville Fat Tire Electric Bicycle Guided City Tour can improve their customer experience. I recently booked a 2pm e-bike tour via Viator for my exploration of Nashville. The morning weather cleared up nicely, so I double-checked the meeting address at 8am – no cancellation message was present. Feeling optimistic, I arrived at the location after a 1-mile walk from my hotel at 1:35pm. Here's where I encountered some issues. The meeting spot was an unmarked red house with a large yellow box truck at the entrance. Signage would have been incredibly helpful to avoid confusion. Thankfully, some friendly locals were able to assure me I was at the right location. After waiting for 15 minutes, I checked Viator again and discovered a cancellation notice from Sean, the owner, buried within the comments section. A direct notification via email, text, or phone call would have been a nice considerate way to communicate this cancellation. The message itself simply stated "not running this afternoon," lacking any explanation or empathy. While I understand unforeseen circumstances can arise, a bit more context and empathy would be greatly appreciated by customers. Additionally, Mr. Gilder mentioned a delay in my refund due to booking through Viator instead of "his" website, a detail not mentioned during the booking process. While the tour itself wasn't the issue (as it never happened), the lack of communication throughout the process caused significant inconvenience. With a free day in Nashville, this last-minute cancellation left me stranded and frustrated and frankly a bit frightened (solo female traveler) with no way to fill the afternoon and no access to the $129 I spent on the tour. Here's how Mr. Gilder can improve: Clear and Timely Communication: Cancellation notifications should be sent directly to customers via email, text, or phone call, not hidden within platform comments. Transparency: Explanation and apology for cancellations would be appreciated by customers. Additionally, booking policies regarding refunds for different platforms should be clearly communicated upfront. Signage: Signage at the meeting location would be a huge help for customers navigating to the correct spot. By implementing these improvements, can ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for future customers. While I cannot recommend this company at this time, I hope this review serves as constructive criticism to help this business grow and to warn costumers to be sure to check Viator comments every hour or so if booking here.
