INFO FOR DRIVERS AND PARKING: If you are driving, then please allow extra 30-60 minutes over whatever time you think it will take you to get here. Oxford is NOT car friendly and it is congested roads and hard to find parking spaces....unless you park at the sign posted 'park and rides' on edge of town on any major road into the city and hop on their buses into city centre. The park and ride buses leave every 15 or every 30 minutes and take anything from 10 min to 30 min (depending on traffic) to reach city centre. So if you are going to drive, then please assume you should be aiming to park your car about one hour before your tour starts.

Our guide, Harry - incidentally- was great! An Oxford native, he had lots of stories and background as well as a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Tons of Potter trivia. Tour was insightful as well as fun!!

My family and I did the Christ Church College and Harry Potter tour with Ben. Alasdair was very kind in accomodating our timing to provide a private tour for my family and Ben was an excellent guide. He was very mindful that we had three kids of different ages and ensured that we were always engaged in what he had to say and show us. He catered the tour specifically to what we wanted to know (which was a lot!) and was very patient. He also gave us additional infotmation on other things we could do with our kids given the different ages of our children which we were very grateful for. Thank you Ben for your patience and sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you Alasdair for allowing us to have a private tour, we def recommend your co and would book with you again when we visit the UK.

The cost was too high for the experience we received. Our guide appeared unfamiliar with the subject, often confused, and frequently forgot names and places. While we understand it was one of his first time, it seemed like he hadn't put much effort into preparing for the tour.

Peter is so good with kids as well. Even on a last minute same day booking he was able to get us through the tour. Highly highly recommended!

Very disorganized operation. When we showed up for our tour, there was no guide there expecting us. We had signed up for a private tour and stumbled across one of their guides who was taking out a group and said w could join them. He was totally unaware of our booking. The owner said the website made a mistake and there were no private tours at that price. We wanted to learn more about Oxford and were add ons to a Harry Potter tour. Would suggest looking for a better organized option.

We spent an extraordinary day with Naïma. We came to Oxford to celebrate a friend's birthday and show her around the Harry Potter filming locations. We went from surprise to surprise and Naïma is a real enthusiast who wears her heart on her sleeve. We recommend “Visit Oxford Tours” with our eyes closed, they helped us to best organize our day which was magical. Thank you for everything !
